Flain could survive for a maximum of 3 seconds. Even though he now had a good opportunity to attack, even if he attacked, he wouldn't kill it in three seconds. So attacking was out of the question.
So once again, after a very long time, he was going to die. The last time he died was back in Dungeon 31 when he was attacked by an army of Black Lizards returning from a meeting with the Lightborn. Back then, he stood no chance against the army, and now he would kill them without much effort.
The worst thing about dying was that he would lose all his armor and, on top of that, the artifacts. But he thought of a way he might be able to avoid that loss. He would level up his inventory and put all his equipment in it. He didn't know if items in the inventory stayed after death, but it was worth a try.

Flain put all the EXP he had into it because it would all disappear after death anyway. He now had 20 slots in his inventory.
