Akwasi turned quickly to Vincent as though looking at his face could change what he had just heard. But it seems it wasn't working since Vincent repeated the exact same words.
"Vince, what…" but he was cut off by Vincent as he swallowed his sentence. On the other hand, Seung Jo was curious as to what condition lay await for him. He hope it wasn't any difficult thing he couldn't fulfill.
"What is the condition?" asked Seung Jo looking so nervous as though he was confessing his love to a girl.
Vincent laughed seeing his nervousness "no need to be nervous. You only have to promise me that you will take me to see someone when the time comes" said Vincent.
Akwasi, "...." "What the…" said Akwasi but his words got stuck again in his throat because Vincent gave him a look that could send assassins back to their victims in order to wake them up.
Seung Jo just stared at Vincent for at least a minute before he could utter a word which eventually led to a sentence.
"What…who do you want to see?" asked a curious Seung Jo. Vincent chuckled as he refocus on his lunch. "No need to know who it is now" replied Vincent.
Seung Jo turned to Akwasi as though he was waiting for a confirmation but Akwasi just shrugged his shoulders and quickly turn his gaze back to his lunch. He doesn't want to be cut off again.
Two hours later, five people were seated in the the car with only two among them bickering unnecessary.
Seung Jo and Akwasi was arguing over something Akwasi did. It all started when Min Ho and Min Ji came by to pick them up. You should get to take a look at their faces when they realized one more person was to join them.
They only nodded because they had no say as to who was to join them and who was not. Vincent hopped into the car, Akwasi followed and Seung Jo took the last spot in the back.
Min Ji sat next the the driver seat with Min Ho obviously sitting in front of the wheel. As they all settled and Min Ho starting their journey. The car became quiet like a cemetery until Akwasi rest his head on Vincent's shoulder.
Akwasi was beginning to relax when he heard "you shouldn't rest your head on his shoulder or else you might wrinkle it" said Seung Jo with a good intention.
He had no idea he had commit a crime just because of what he said. With that a glare was shot through his way while his head still rest on Vincent's shoulder.
Seung Jo still didn't want to keep his mouth shut and went ahead to say while trying to pull Akwasi's head off Vincent's shoulder "you will wrinkle his perfectly tailored suit."
He tried pulling off Akwasi's head three times and this time Akwasi had to open his mouth. "And why do you care if I wrinkle his suit, he is not a friend of yours" replied Akwasi resting his head on Vincent's shoulder again.
This became a back and forth thing for one to five minutes with no one backing down first. With this ongoing, the subject of the matter was lost in a trance staring at Jae Won's photo he got online.
He was dressed in a white suit that accentuated his perfectly smooth white skin. His watch brighten the place when directed to the sun and his black polished shoes announced his presence making people pave the way for him.
Vincent was lost in admiring his so far away boyfriend whom he could only see from a screen and how he wished he stood right in front of him.
Min Ji and Min Ho shared glances at each other while they look through the mirror to watch what was going on. It seems their drive would be a lot fun than they thought.
While one was lost in a daze and the two still bickering unnecessarily, Hana and Soo Young were already at Jae Won's office while she served his lunch.
Jae Won couldn't stop smiling because if there was one particular thing about Hana she liked, was her food. Since she had a crush on Jae Won she decided to learn how to cook just to win some points and now they had come in handy.
"Vice Chairman" said Soo Young who came just finished looking around as though she was a police inspector looking for one particular evidence that could turn the case around in their favour.
Jae won turned his head to Soo Young's direction while he stuffed his mouth with his food. Hye Ji and Secretary Kim was out for lunch since they will be attending a meeting very soon .
"Will it be possible to work here?" asked Soo Young surprising the two love birds. Hana quickly turned to her best friend whom she knew was the laziest person on this earth.
She barely work at her father's company and to think she wants to work with someone else would be troublesome for the other.
"No, you can't" Hana quickly replied. This wasn't a surprise to Soo Young since she knew what she was capable of. "I'm just kidding" she said as she walked towards the desk.
On the desk was a beautiful wrist beads with Jae Won name written on it. The wrist beads was so beautiful that Soo Young was moving slowly towards it without realizing. All she thought was to touch the wrist beads.
As she moved towards the wrist beads with her right hand stretching out to touch it she heard "don't touch it." With that said, she snapped out of her trance and turned towards Jae Won with a confused look.
Hana also turned and when her gaze fell on the wrist beads she knew why Jae Won shouted. "Why did you take off the wrist beads? You never did that for the last five years" asked Hana to Jae Won.
Soo Young stood there frozen as she watched those two. "I just took it off for a little bit" replied Jae Won as he turned his focus on his food. With that Soo Young slid out of the office to take a good look at the company.
Since Jae Won's parents brought home their son, they never disclosed where they found him but from she saw was a happy Jae Won always on his phone with either he was smiling or giggling.
She often saw him on campus and for some unknown reason she couldn't approach him and when she was able to she noticed the beads on his wrist which he never joked about it.
She made a mistake and asked him to take it off while he was preparing to swim one day on campus which she even went ahead to help him out like a Good Samaritan. She almost regretted the day she was ever born. Since then she made no attempt to talk about it even when they got together.
Even though she knew he had lost part of his memories but he was still the same Jae Won that she knew and that nothing had changed except with when it comes to the beads.
She once asked why he was possessive towards it, "I am not sure why but all I know I don't want to lose it" was Jae Won's reply to Hana.
When he regained consciousness and was declared that he had lost part of his memory due to the accident, he still asked of that wrist beads which was hope to his family that he would be able to regain his memory in no time.
But it seemed it was to fool them since for five years now, he still doesn't remember. The doctor even suggested he should be around familiar things which can help him jolt his memory but it seems that was working either.
His parents had given up on his memory besides he was fit as a fiddle and his memories that he had lost doesn't seem to be hindering his work. Her thoughts wondered back to the office and realized Jae Won was done with his lunch.
"How was it?" she asked while packed up into the lunchbox. That's when she realized Soo Young wasn't in the office again. "Where is Soo Young?" she asked and before Jae Won could reply, Soo Young entered with a bright smile.
In her hands was an ice cream which she got from Hye Ji as a gift. Not exactly a gift that came from her heart because Hye Ji had to give it out before she creates a problem for herself.
Hana gave her a stare and Soo Young immediately responded to the look thrown at her "she gave it to me willingly" said Soo Young. Hana turned to look at Hye Ji who stood behind Secretary Kim consumed by fright.
"You want me to believe you? This isn't the first time you've done such a thing" replied Hana.
