In the Philippines, there are people with cards called Arrachi. They can summon what's in those cards for a card battle. The strongest cards are the five god cards, which summon five spirits, one of them being Bygon Bloods.
The main character is Cyron, a student at Magestical High, who loves his crush, Angelica, who holds the strongest card in school called Valentine. No one has beaten her yet until he fainted in the middle of class.
Bygon, a werewolf/naga hybrid, talked to him; he was his first Arrachi. "Bullies have taken over this school in Manila, and our job is to beat the cause of bullying."
Outside, the leader of the bullying group known as the Swallows was waiting for him, trying to take his lunch money. An Arrachi flew towards him.
"Bygon Bloods, I summon you!" he shouted, with mana overflowing around him while the bullies summoned a huge army of normal Arrachis. Blood spikes formed around the ground and almost hit his master. After a few seconds, he fainted from losing too much mana.
The bullies doodled on his face, as they were scared of his first partner. Angelica took notice, as tomorrow she wanted to test his strength.
