Si Elle awoke in a desolate plane. Believing that it was the Sahara and that his illusion had thrown him there to fight off trials of the desert.
Walking down the lane, he discovered that it was not what he had thought it to be and instead of sands to fill the planes like it was told were in the deserts, the land was firm and almost breaking.
There was no sign of water. This had been what made him believe he was in a desert area but on further inspection of where he had landed, he discovered that truly there was no water in sight but due to drought. And not the land being a desert.
Everywhere he stood was dried up as if all water embedded in the soil had been sipped out by some sort of demon or power.
He continued walking and almost fell when something hit his leg.
"Ohh stupid!!" He muttered angrily, getting ready to cast into oblivion whatever demon it was that had been daring to block his path and almost caused him to fall.
