"First of all, I came here to get acquainted with you."
Kailen noticed the underlying meaning behind his words—connections.
Zarek Atrexia came to see him to secure some sort of connection with him.
He didn't have a problem with that.
"Also," Zarek continued, "I wanted to explicitly express that the Atrexia Society is always willing to provide any form of assistance to the Sword Tribunal Society at any point in time. Our doors are always open to you."
Kailen nodded.
Of course.
He knew what was going on here.
For some reason, this guy wanted to be on good terms with him, and what better way to do that than to offer support and assistance to the person you wanted to be on good terms with?
"What terrifying foresight," Kailen couldn't help but mutter inwardly to himself.
This guy had definitely realized that Kailen had a terrifying future and wanted to be on his good side.
