The kitchen door swung open, alerting Quizen and Heiren who were standing by the staircase.
"I really don't need to come everyday to the guild." Coco's voice flowed out of the room first before they saw her step out, her eyes red and puffy, but there was a cheerful smile on her lips.
"Are you really sure..?" Cleora's voice came in second and just like Coco, she stepped out of the kitchen, too.
"I'm sure, mama." Coco giggled and dragged her out of the room before she led her mother inside of the living room, not noticing the presence of her two lovely mediators.
She walked past the two of them, the mother and the daughter engaged in a conversation the two couldn't quite make sense of.
"Did you see her eyes?" Quizen whispered to Heiren. "They were red."
"She looked fine though." Heiren whispered back, the two of them peeking their heads around the corner to see what the mother and daughter duo are up to.
