Coco and Kairo both turned their heads at the sound of someone's voice, their attention quickly drawn to the person who was approaching them.
They caught sight of Alhai, carrying a tray holding drinks and some pastries.
Coco's face lit up as she noticed the tray in Alhai's hands, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and slight hunger and of course, Kairo, too, perked up slightly, his gaze also shifting to the food and drinks.
Alhai let out a long exhale, his tone tinged with teasing, his gaze flickering to Kairo and Coco's proximity. "I don't mind you touching him at all."
He offered them a slight smile, a knowing glint in his eyes as he observed the scene before him and Coco could see that there was a hint of a mischievous twinkle there, as if he was secretly enjoying seeing the two interact so intimately.
Coco looked at Kairo, silently signaling him to stay put, making Kairo nod in response, understanding the unspoken request before turning to Alhai.
