Chapter 102 - 102

After finishing the meeting at the company registration firm, Bani thanked the consultant and left the office building. The discussion had been helpful, and she now had a clear understanding of the steps needed to register her entertainment company. On the way back home, she kept thinking about the next things she needed to arrange.

One important thing was an office space. It didn't need to be large or expensive at the beginning—just a small, professional place where the company could be registered and where meetings could be held if necessary. She decided she would start looking for a small office to rent, something practical that would give her company a proper address and working space.

When she reached home, she went straight to her room and opened her notebook again. Her thoughts now shifted to something even more important—the film script she had been working on.

She knew that scripts were valuable. In the film industry, a strong script could become the foundation of an entire project, and once it proved successful, it would become an asset of the company. Because of that, she had to be careful about protecting it.

Bani decided that it would be better not to rely on outside printing shops or share digital files unnecessarily. To keep everything secure, she planned to buy a printer and handle all printing work herself inside her room.

That way, she could safely print, review, and organize the script drafts without worrying about them leaking outside. She also planned to keep multiple organized copies, stored carefully as part of the company's early assets.

For Bani, this was more than just writing a story. It was building intellectual property—something that could later become a film, generate revenue, and establish her position in the industry.

After finishing some information collection work, Bani looked at the list she had written in her notebook. One important item remained — buying a printer so she could safely print her scripts without depending on outside shops.

She remembered seeing large electronics stores inside the mall. One of the well-known retailers in Dubai was Sharaf DG, a big electronics store that sold laptops, printers, cameras, and other gadgets from good international brands.

The mall was also connected to the Dubai Metro through a nearby subway station, which made it easy for people to reach.

Before leaving, Bani went to the kitchen where her mother was preparing for dinner.

"Amma, I'm going to the mall for some work," she said calmly.

Her mother looked up and asked, "Will you be late?"

Bani shook her head.

"No, I'll also pick up Manu from his football training club while coming back."

Her mother nodded with relief. Knowing that Bani would bring her brother back safely made things easier at home.

By the time Bani left the house, the sun had already begun to set. It was around 6 in the evening, and the sky of Dubai had started turning orange with the city lights slowly coming alive.

Instead of going to the mall first, she went straight to Manu's football training ground to pick him up.

When she reached there, the training session had just finished. Boys were still running around the field, some stretching and some laughing while talking to their friends. Manu came running toward her with his sports bag on his shoulder, completely sweaty after practice.

Bani looked at him and immediately said in a firm but caring tone,

"First go and take a plain shower. Don't come out like this… you'll stink the whole car."

Manu laughed a little but obeyed. He quickly went to the changing room, washed off the sweat, and came back fresh after a few minutes.

"Better," Bani said with a smile.

After that, both of them headed to the mall. The evening crowd had already started filling the place—families walking around, tourists taking pictures, and bright lights shining from the shops.

They went directly to the electronics section where several stores displayed laptops, cameras, and printers. One of the large stores they entered was Sharaf DG, known for selling electronics from many international brands.

Inside the store, rows of printers were displayed. Bani carefully looked at the options. Some were simple printers, while others were all-in-one machines that could print, scan, and copy documents.

She thought about her needs.

She didn't require something too large or too expensive, but it had to be reliable and good for regular printing because she would be printing scripts and company documents.

After checking a few models and asking the store staff some questions, she finally chose a printer from HP.

The staff explained the features — wireless printing, scanning, and good ink efficiency. It was perfect for her work.

Manu stood beside her looking a little bored but still curious about the gadgets around.

As Bani and Manu came out of the mall carrying the printer box, the bright lights of the food court caught Manu's attention immediately. The smell of baked bread, cheese, and spices filled the air.

Manu suddenly stopped walking.

"Bani… pizza!" he said excitedly. "Let's buy pizza for dinner."

Bani looked at him and shook her head slightly.

"Amma is already preparing dinner at home," she said. "If we go now and say we ate outside, you know what will happen… we will get scolded."

Manu made a face, clearly disappointed.

But Bani smiled a little and leaned closer to him.

"Let's be smart," she whispered.

Manu looked at her curiously.

"We'll buy two pizzas, bring them home quietly, and eat them there. We can share it with everyone. That way Amma won't feel bad that we ate outside."

Manu's face brightened instantly.

They walked into Pizza Hut nearby and ordered two medium pizzas. While waiting for the order, Manu kept talking about his football practice and how tired he felt after training.

A few minutes later, the pizza boxes were ready. Bani carefully carried them along with the printer box.

"Now don't open the box in the car," she warned him playfully.

"The smell itself will reach home before us."

Manu laughed.
