Chapter 99 - 99

Two days later, the day of the official prize presentation arrived.

The event was held in a beautifully decorated ballroom inside one of Dubai's luxury hotels.

Large banners displayed the logos of the Dubai Shopping Festival and the participating developer.

Media photographers and television crews were already setting up their cameras.

Rows of chairs were occupied by raffle winners, invited guests, business representatives, and members of the public.

Nagaraju arrived with his family.

His brothers, their wives, and their mother also accompanied him to witness the ceremony.

As they entered, everyone admired the grand arrangements.

The younger cousins whispered excitedly,

"This feels like an award function."

On the stage stood a large backdrop displaying photographs of the residential project.

Beside it were several elegant boxes and sealed envelopes.

Representatives from Dubai Mall, officials overseeing the promotional event, and members of the organizing committee were seated in the front row to ensure the ceremony was conducted fairly and transparently.

Television reporters moved around interviewing guests while photographers captured every moment.

Soon, the master of ceremonies walked onto the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen..."

"Welcome to today's Dubai Shopping Festival Grand Prize Presentation Ceremony."

The audience applauded.

After congratulating all the winners, he smiled mischievously.

"This year..."

"Our developer has decided to add one final surprise."

The audience became curious.

The developer himself walked onto the stage.

He was known for unusual promotional ideas and smiled confidently as the cameras focused on him.

He spoke into the microphone.

"When we announced an apartment as the grand prize, everyone expected us to simply hand over the keys."

He paused.

"But where is the excitement in that?"

The audience laughed.

"So..."

"I decided to make today's ceremony memorable."

The giant screen behind him lit up.

It displayed several categories.

Studio Apartment

1 Bedroom Apartment

2 Bedroom Apartment

3 Bedroom Apartment

4 Bedroom Apartment

Penthouse

A wave of murmurs spread through the hall.

The developer continued,

"The winner has already been selected fairly through the official raffle."

"That result will not change."

"The apartment prize is guaranteed."

"However..."

"The exact residence will be decided today."

He pointed toward the elegant sealed envelopes displayed on the stage.

"Each envelope contains one apartment category."

"The winner will personally choose one envelope."

"The envelope selected will determine which residence they receive."

For a few seconds, the hall fell silent.

Then reporters immediately began whispering among themselves.

One journalist laughed.

"Only he could think of something like this."

Another smiled.

"He's a little crazy."

"But in a good way."

The audience laughed and applauded.

Even some government officials exchanged amused smiles.

Although the idea was unusual, the organizers had ensured that the process remained transparent.

The envelopes had been sealed beforehand, documented, and placed under official supervision.

Representatives from Dubai Mall and the event committee confirmed that the selection would be random and fair.

The developer spread his hands dramatically.

"Today..."

"Luck will have one final opportunity to surprise someone."

Nagaraju quietly looked toward the stage.

His family exchanged surprised glances.

They had expected to receive the apartment and complete the ceremony.

None of them had imagined that one final game of chance still awaited the grand prize winner.

Akshata remained calm.

Inside her heart, however, she silently whispered,

"Kalpa..."

"It seems fate has prepared one last test."

The applause slowly faded as Akshata took her place beside her father.

Bright lights from the television cameras illuminated the stage.

The audience watched with curiosity.

Before them, a polished table held several identical sealed envelopes.

Each one had been prepared in advance under the supervision of the organizers.

No markings distinguished one from another.

The developer smiled.

"Take your time."

"One choice."

"That's all."

Akshata nodded politely.

Outwardly, she appeared calm.

Inside her mind, however, she reached for the familiar white space.

---

"Kalpa..."

The endless white expanse appeared around her.

"I am here, Host."

Akshata looked at the row of glowing representations of the envelopes.

"If your perception allows it..."

"Can you tell me which envelope contains the five-bedroom apartment or the penthouse?"

"They could be much more valuable in the future."

"If our family ever keeps it or decides to sell it, it could make a significant difference."

Kalpa remained silent for a brief moment.

Then the voice answered calmly.

"The envelopes were prepared through an ordinary physical process."

"I cannot know hidden information simply because it exists."

"I do not possess unlimited knowledge."

Akshata frowned slightly.

"So you can't identify which envelope contains the penthouse?"

"Not with certainty."

"I cannot reveal information that is genuinely unknown to me."

After another pause, Kalpa continued.

"However..."

"I can sense subtle probabilities."

"One envelope appears... slightly more favorable than the others."

"The difference is small."

"It is not certainty."

"It is only the strongest possibility I can perceive."

But host if you become skilled with you I will be able to evolve.

Now what I am able to predict is

A single envelope among the many shimmered a little brighter than the rest.

Akshata looked at it carefully.

"So even now..."

"...there is no guarantee?"

"Correct."

"The final outcome remains uncertain."

Akshata smiled.

"I understand."

"If this is the best chance we have..."

"I'll trust it."

The white space slowly dissolved.

---

Akshata opened her eyes.

The audience was still waiting patiently.

She stepped forward and slowly moved her hand over the sealed envelopes.

For a few seconds, she hesitated.

Then, with complete confidence, she rested her hand on one envelope.

She looked at her father.

"I've chosen."

Nagaraju smiled.

"Then that's the one."

The developer walked forward with a grin.

"No changing your mind?"

Akshata shook her head.

"No."

"I'm happy with this choice."

The audience applauded as the developer carefully lifted the selected envelope from the table.

Every camera in the hall focused on it.

The master of ceremonies smiled broadly.

"Ladies and gentlemen..."

"Let's find out which apartment fate has chosen."

The hall fell completely silent as the sealed envelope was placed on the podium, waiting to be opened.

The ballroom became completely silent.

Every camera lens focused on the sealed envelope resting on the podium.

The master of ceremonies smiled warmly.

"Mr. Nagaraju has entrusted this final choice to his daughter."

"What a wonderful moment."
