Chapter 93 - 93

The family had decided to travel to the airport together.

Instead of everyone gathering at Nagaraju's house, the elder uncle's car and the younger uncle's car joined Nagaraju's vehicle en route.

As the three vehicles moved in a convoy, the family exchanged warm smiles at each traffic signal they stopped at.

The excitement was clearly visible.

For both the elder and younger families, this was their first international journey.

Even the grandmother could not conceal her joy.

---

Upon reaching the international airport, the atmosphere became even more vibrant.

The terminal was bustling with passengers traveling to various destinations around the world.

Large electronic display boards continuously showed flight departures to multiple countries.

The younger uncle looked around in awe.

"So this is an international terminal."

The elder aunt carefully held her passport.

"I hope I don't misplace this," she said with a hint of nervousness.

Everyone laughed gently.

Nagaraju smiled reassuringly.

"Don't worry."

"We'll go through everything step by step."

Having traveled abroad several times, Nagaraju, his wife, and Akshata were familiar with the procedures.

Akshata calmly guided her grandmother.

"Ajji, keep your passport and boarding pass together."

"When the officers ask for them, just hand them over."

Her grandmother nodded.

"It's good that you're with me."

The family first completed the luggage check-in process.

They then collected their boarding passes.

This was followed by immigration and security clearance.

The younger uncle appeared slightly confused while filling out a form.

Before he could ask anyone, Akshata gently stepped in to assist.

"Chikkappa, this section is for your passport number."

"And here, you need to sign."

"Oh!" he laughed.

"Thank you."

The elder aunt also asked,

"Akshata, is this the correct queue?"

"Yes," Akshata replied politely.

"This is the line for our flight."

She never sounded impatient.

Instead, she explained everything calmly and respectfully.

Observing her, the elder uncle quietly remarked to his wife,

"She has become very mature."

His wife nodded.

"She has traveled internationally several times now."

"But despite that, she has not become proud."

"She is helping everyone so naturally."

The younger aunt also noticed this.

She smiled softly.

"I thought she would be preoccupied with her own arrangements."

"Instead, she is ensuring everyone is comfortable."

Nagaraju overheard the conversation but remained silent.

A subtle smile formed on his face.

He felt proud of his daughter.

Not because she had become an international model.

Not because she had built successful games.

But because success had not changed her character.

She still greeted elders with respect.

She still helped without being asked.

She still remained patient.

After completing all formalities, the entire family finally entered the departure lounge.

Large aircraft could be seen through the glass windows.

The grandmother looked outside with childlike excitement.

"So that is our airplane?"

"Yes, Amma," Nagaraju replied with a smile.

A boarding announcement was soon made.

Passengers began lining up at the gate.

One by one, the family walked through the boarding bridge and entered the aircraft.

The cabin crew welcomed them warmly.

They found their assigned seats and carefully placed their hand luggage in the overhead compartments.

As everyone settled in, the younger uncle looked around the cabin like an excited child.

"I still cannot believe we are flying to another country."

The elder uncle laughed.

"This is going to be a memorable journey."

Akshata fastened her seat belt and looked across at her family.

Seeing their excitement made her smile.

For her, this was just another international flight.

For the rest of the family, it was the beginning of an entirely new experience.

And somehow…

Watching them experience it for the very first time felt even more special than traveling herself.

After a comfortable flight, the captain made the announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing in Dubai shortly."

Everyone looked out through the windows.

The sparkling coastline, wide highways, and rows of modern buildings slowly came into view.

The younger uncle smiled excitedly.

"So this is Dubai."

The aircraft touched down smoothly.

As it taxied toward the terminal, the family applauded softly, especially the grandmother, who was delighted to have completed her first international flight.

---

After disembarking, they followed the signs toward immigration.

The airport was enormous.

Its bright lighting, polished floors, and modern architecture impressed everyone.

The elder aunt looked around in amazement.

"I've never seen an airport this big."

Akshata smiled.

"Dubai receives visitors from all over the world."

"It is one of the busiest international airports."

Since Nagaraju's family had travelled abroad several times before, they calmly guided everyone through immigration, baggage claim, and customs.

Within a short while, all the formalities were completed.

Soon, the entire family stepped outside the airport.

The warm desert breeze welcomed them.

---

Two vehicles were waiting to take them to their hotel.

The drive itself became a sightseeing tour.

The younger family looked through the windows with excitement.

Tall glass buildings reflected the evening sunlight.

Wide roads stretched in every direction.

Luxury hotels, shopping malls, and beautifully maintained gardens lined the streets.

The grandmother quietly whispered,

"It looks like another world."

---

After reaching the hotel, the families completed their check-in.

As planned, each family had booked its own accommodation.

Nagaraju's family had reserved a spacious three-bedroom suite.

The elder uncle and younger uncle, had also booked a three-bedroom suite so there would be plenty of space for two couples and children. They booked shared one as they decided they would split the expenses

After collecting their room keys, everyone went upstairs.

The long journey had been tiring.

They freshened up, changed into comfortable clothes, and rested briefly.

---

By the time everyone gathered in the hotel lobby again, evening had already arrived.

"Shall we go for dinner?" Nagaraju asked.

Everyone agreed immediately.

They chose a nearby restaurant serving a mix of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes.

Akshatha decided to try a few new dishes while still keeping some familiar food on her plate.

The younger uncle laughed.

Hoo our niece is becoming adventurous."

She smiled.

"If we've come all the way to Dubai, we should try something different."

The table was filled with conversation, laughter, and stories from the journey.

For the first time in many years, the brothers were simply enjoying each other's company without discussing business.

After dinner, nobody felt like returning to the hotel immediately.

The cool evening breeze made the weather pleasant.

"Let's take a walk," Akshata suggested.

Everyone agreed.

They headed toward the beach.

The sound of gentle waves greeted them as they reached the shoreline.

The city lights reflected beautifully on the water.

Children played in the sand.

Families strolled along the promenade.

Tourists from different countries enjoyed the peaceful evening.

Akshata removed her sandals and walked slowly along the cool sand.

Her grandmother followed carefully, smiling like a child experiencing something new.

The brothers walked side by side, talking about old childhood memories instead of business.

Their wives chatted happily while the gentle sea breeze carried away the tension that had existed between the families for so long.

Standing quietly by the shore, Akshata smiled to herself.

The real reason for this trip still lay ahead.

She felt that the journey had already begun to achieve something priceless.
