He didn't want to dive deeper into anyone's minds but he had a shallow understanding of what their deal was now so he could relax..

He had expected a high price, somewhere around $500 million but an extra $370 million was well appreciated.
"Congratulations, though know that the auction house fees would reduce the final amount" Winston said as he offered a handshake
"Thank you sir, this could never be achieved without your help" Leon confessed
He meant every bit of it, if he hadn't met the man then he would never be here right now. Well most of that credit went to Grace rather than the man though
She was the one who had given him the advice to create a trust fund and entrust the painting to them. That move alone had made him as wealthy as he was now.
"I am not the one who painted it after all, it's still a surprise to see the young man who had created a portrait of my family for only $100 is now selling a painting for over half a billion dollars" Winston said as he slapped Leon's back
The group celebrated their win but Leon and Grace knew that things wouldn't remain this peaceful. He urged the auction house to do an immediate handover of the painting so they can receive the payment.
If it was done the usual way considering that this was a private and anonymous auction, he knew that if they tried to deliver the painting later on, it would never reach the buyer.
"I think we should start going now" Leon suggested
Based on what he knew and every prediction he ran ended up with the same result, this location would soon become a war zone between powers they couldn't currently handle.
"What about father and the others?" Grace asked
"You should know by now that if anything happens, the people they evacuate first are the VIP and your father is beyond VIP, but us, we are secondary priority" Leon replied
That much he knew, if he ran a business and it was attacked, he would ensure the safety of his VIPs first after all they were the reassurances that my business would come back to what it was.
And also the more popular you are, the less likely you are to be attacked by some organization. Though there were many organizations that were here solely just to maintain peace during the auction like SHIELD.
"Are you that scared of them?" Grace asked
"My lady, survival is winning" Leon replied with a laugh before they left the ViP room
Following where they had come from, the two immediately ran for it. The adults would survive, that was a guarantee.
Out of the two, only one would be injured and that was Mr Webar but even then it was a minor injury.
