Chapter 365 - Five Minutes To Turn The Tide

Use that time to even the odds."

He made it clear that once the five minutes were up, he would start, giving no chance to escape.

Pride was taken aback by this unexpected mercy.

He hadn't expected Larry to allow time to gather reinforcements.

Was this the confidence of someone who completely trusted his own strength?

Pride clenched his teeth, turned away, and quickly pulled out his phone to start calling for backup.

Time was running out, and he had to gather as many people as possible.

Even if the chances were slim, having a few more allies would improve their odds of survival.

As for escaping, that wasn't an option.

Larry wasn't a fool.

The fact that he dared to offer this time meant he was prepared.

The five minutes flew by.

Arrogant rushed back with a group of fighters, while Sloth and Lust also arrived with their own people.

Despite the growing army, Arrogant still felt uneasy.

Some key members were missing.

"Lust, where are Bhutto's people?" he asked.

Lust sneered lightly.

"As soon as they heard it was Larry, they ran. They said, 'Do they think we're idiots? Fight for a few bucks? That's Larry! Going there is suicide!'"

Indeed, seven or eight Nen users had already fled the manor, not wanting to get caught up in the fight.

But just as they tried to escape, a massive force appeared before them, blocking their way.

Some were soldiers loaded with guns and ammo, but most were fully armed, well-equipped, and mentally powerful fighters, strong enough to be considered threats even in the outside world.

Now, they swarmed in overwhelming numbers, surrounding the manor completely.

"Who are these people? We're surrounded!" someone shouted.

"Look at their uniforms!" another said.

"They're... V5's secret army!"

The realization dawned on them.

The manor was encircled by terrifying forces, and the battle was about to become far more intense.

The experienced senior soldiers stood with such an intimidating presence that just looking at them made your legs feel weak.

Compared to these veterans, others seemed like a bunch of amateurs.

Like the soldiers Larry had seen at the ferry hall, they all wore astronaut-like suits.

These outfits weren't just for show.

They provided strong protection and could guard against poison gas.

This group of senior soldiers was one of V5's secret weapons and represented the most elite fighters in the army.

They were all part of the reserve forces from the Dark Continent.

Before they could make a move, a group of gang members suddenly burst out from the other side, all brandishing guns.

"Don't you see where you are? How dare you come here and cause trouble?!" the bald leader snapped.

"If you break into this place, you'll die!"

With that, he hoisted a rocket

launcher onto his shoulder and fired, joined by others. In an instant, bright flashes lit up the dark, and rockets with flickering flames streaked through the air.

Seven or eight powerful shells sped straight toward the soldiers, and the bald leader could already imagine the other side being blown to bits.

Maybe it was sheer fearlessness or ignorance.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, a large knife flew out from the soldiers' ranks, spinning through the air.

Its sharp blade sliced cleanly through one of the incoming shells, causing it to explode immediately.

The blast rippled through the air, sending smoke and gas drifting away on the wind.

"Bang! Bang!..."

The knife didn't lose momentum; it kept spinning, blowing up several more shells one after another.

Soon, the battlefield was filled with thick smoke and dust from the explosions.

Once the knife finished its work, it simply circled back and returned to the soldier who had thrown it.

"This... how is this even possible?!"

The bald leader's eyes, usually narrow and covered by fat, suddenly widened in disbelief.

He wiped his eyes hard, muttering, "Three seven three," unable to accept what he'd just seen.

Each of those shells was powerful, yet they were blown apart by the enemy's blade.

Not only that, but the knife spun through the air, taking out several shells before returning.

For the bald leader, who didn't understand Nen, it all felt like a fantasy.

The once orderly army now looked like a cup of water split in two, retreating to either side and leaving a clear path down the middle.

From that open road, a muscular man stepped forward, the big knife resting on his shoulder.

His presence was completely different from the other soldiers; it was as if he stood apart from the crowd, naturally drawing everyone's attention.

Like a full moon shining among fireflies.

Unlike the astronaut-like uniforms the others wore, he was dressed in simple, tight sportswear that outlined his powerful muscles and hinted at the tremendous aura he held within.

A long scar ran down Jonah's face, giving him a fierce and intimidating look.

He glanced coldly at the shivering bald leader nearby, then turned his gaze toward the group of Nen users trying to escape.

"Take them all down! No one gets away!" he commanded in a sharp voice.

At Jonah's order, the soldiers surged forward like a relentless tide.

Soon, the entire manor was shrouded in smoke, littered with the aftermath of fierce battles between Nen users.

These gang members and low-level Nen fighters, mostly ordinary people, stood no chance against the elite soldiers.

Even though the gang outnumbered them, they were steadily overwhelmed and couldn't hold out for long.

Jonah was the leader of these top-tier soldiers and the only one among them to have reached S-level strength.

Larry's earlier suspicions had been right; there were hidden S-level fighters within V5.

As the secret force's leader, Jonah was one of these elite warriors.

After all, V5 was one of the five great powers spanning six continents, and it was natural for them to have trained several S-level fighters over the years.

Because of their special status, these warriors operated under strict secrecy, unknown to the outside world.

The so-called five world Nen users were just the visible tip of the iceberg.

V5 had cultivated many powerful individuals, though still limited in number, proving that their strength was far more complex and formidable than it seemed.

But all of this worked in Larry's favor.

Besides the five national leaders, Larry had also manipulated several hidden S-class warriors within V5, turning them into puppets controlled by Nihilego.

Inside the mansion, Pride answered the phone, panic creeping into his voice.

"Boss, we can't hold out much longer! V5's senior soldiers have surrounded the manor, most of them are psychic users!"

He stared blankly at Larry, who remained calm, sending a chill down his spine.

'What was going on? Why would V5 be helping Larry?'

'These senior soldiers weren't usually deployed by V5, so how could they be sent to assist him?'

Pride realized this wasn't just aid; it was following Larry's own orders.
