Unlike others, Menthuthuyoupi had no human genes at all, being composed entirely of monster DNA, which allowed it to freely alter its body. Just then, Larry stepped forward lightly, catching the attention of the other three guards. 'Were they about to attack?'
Before anyone could react, a brilliant white light exploded in front of Zazan. As the light faded, vibrant rainbow-colored beams shot forward.
Zazan, still adjusting from her transformation, was caught off guard, her massive form becoming an easy target. Fear filled her eyes, the first time she had ever truly sensed the presence of death.
The powerful beam didn't just obliterate Zazan, it also carved a huge crater into the ground, sending thick smoke billowing into the air. Larry waved his hand casually, and the dust settled back down, restoring calm to the area.
"Nen Beast?" Knov muttered under his breath as he stared at Porygon Z hovering in the air, a cold sweat forming on his forehead.
The aura coming off this nen beast was far stronger than his own, making him feel weak and vulnerable. Those blinding beams of light had come from that little creature resembling a toy duck.
Knov couldn't help but imagine what would happen if he were facing those attacks himself. The conclusion was grim, he'd end up just like Zazan, or worse, since he didn't have the same tough body as a chimera ant. If he tried to withstand those beams, he'd probably be wiped out instantly.
The attack moved so fast that by the time he tried to dodge with his Fourth-Dimensional Apartment ability, it would already be too late. Against Porygon Z's power, Knov and Zazan were basically on equal footing, and this was just one of Larry's nen beasts!
Seeing Knov about to wipe the sweat off his forehead with a handkerchief, Larry stowed Porygon Z away. Zazan wasn't even close to the level of Meteor Street yet, so he didn't offer much in terms of experience points.
But Larry wasn't really focused on them anyway. His real target was the Ant King and the three guards, the division leaders were merely appetizers.
"Looks like all the chimera ants here have been taken care of. Let's keep moving," Netero said calmly, a hint of excitement in his voice.
Having seen ants like Zazan, his curiosity about the stronger chimera ants, those that had made Gon and the others flee in panic, only grew. Encountering these ants meant they were getting closer to the ant nest.
Meanwhile, down the corridor, Gon and Killua were gearing up to train hard so they could defeat their opponents. "So, we have to work hard and grow over the next month," Killua analyzed.
"No, that's too slow," Gon interrupted, shaking his head. "We've got to hit our goal within a week and then head back to NGL."
What Gon said shocked Killua, who instinctively reached out and swung the door open. "Are you an idiot?!" he shouted.
As soon as the door swung open, a shout rang out, and Gon suddenly saw a fist growing larger right before his eyes.
Bang!
The punch hit him hard, sending him crashing into the opposite wall. Rubbing the back of his aching head, Gon winced, "Ouch, that really hurts."
When he finally got a clear look at who was standing in front of him, both kids blurted out together, "Biscuit?!"
Biscuit stood there, dressed in a burgundy princess dress, hands firmly on her hips, wearing a seriously stern expression.
"Why is Biscuit here?" Gon asked, still a bit puzzled by her sudden appearance.
But Biscuit cut him off sharply, "Don't say a word yet, I have questions for you!"
Her clear eyes locked onto Gon as she spoke with a serious tone. "Why do you have to go to NGL? That place is no longer for kids like you!"
She continued, her voice filled with frustration, "With Larry and President Netero already handling things, why do you think it's your turn to act?"
Biscuit scolded them harshly, clearly upset. She couldn't understand why her disciples always seemed to rush headfirst into danger without thinking. They knew the odds were against them, so why risk going beyond their limits?
In Biscuit's eyes, the situation was already under control thanks to Larry's intervention. As the undisputed World's Strongest, if Larry couldn't fix it, then these two kids definitely shouldn't be involved. Letting them try was just asking for trouble.
Still, despite her frustration, Biscuit's soft side came through. Seeing their determination, she designed an intense training plan for them. Over the next period, the two kids faced grueling, hellish exercises on Greed Island, pushed from dawn until dusk until they were utterly exhausted.
As night fell, the dark sky scattered with stars, a bright moon bathed the earth in soft silver light, illuminating the faces of four people standing together. "Hoo ho ho, that's not good," President Netero chuckled nervously, holding his fingers in an OK gesture in front of his eyes.
Thanks to the aura in his vision, he could clearly see fine details from a great distance. "That guy might actually be stronger than me," he muttered thoughtfully.
At that moment, President Netero's eyes fixed on a chimera ant perched atop the nest, an unusual figure shaped like a cat. Normally, a cat-like woman might seem cute, but to Netero, she radiated nothing but power.
More than that, there was something unsettling about her, a deep sense of evil emanating from within that made him uneasy. After running and fighting their way through countless chimera ants, the four finally reached their destination, the ant nest. They now stood on a rocky platform some distance away, preparing for what lay ahead.
Beside him, Morel's face tightened in surprise at Netero's words. Even though he had braced himself mentally, he still couldn't hide his shock when the president asked, "Stronger than me…" Morel hesitated, then glanced toward
Larry, who remained calm and unreadable. Though Morel didn't finish his sentence, the others understood his meaning clearly: if they couldn't defeat President Netero, the strongest man from the past, then their only hope was Larry, the strongest in present.
"Time is cruel," Netero sighed quietly. "I'm no longer the strongest, and more will surpass me as time goes on."
He pointed to Larry standing beside him, a reminder of his younger self's vigor. "I'm probably not even half as strong as I was in my prime. I really hate getting old."
That heartfelt sigh revealed the pain of a warrior facing his own decline. Netero knew all too well that his heyday was behind him.
Living to this age was an achievement in itself, but maintaining peak strength was impossible. For someone who devoted his life to martial arts, watching his power fade was a bitter pill to swallow.
"President, don't lose hope. There might still be a chance," Larry said calmly from the side, catching everyone's attention.
