You can't even wipe yourself...
Nelson: - It is an honor for them to cleanse me, a noble one!
Continuing to shake his head, Bill simply said:
- Wake up, there is nothing noble about you. Look at yourself, and since you are too fat to see yourself completely, just think about how your actions sank the Marine Corps fleet...
There's just nothing noble about you, Nelson.
When Bill said this, the ex-commodore's face turned red and he shouted:
- Shut up!!! I was betrayed by a mercenary, and my fleet was destroyed by dragons!!!
As he spoke, Bill didn't know why, but he knew Nelson was telling the truth, so he simply replied:
- Yes, but that doesn't change the facts.
Nelson: - There were two dragons... Huh?
Bill saw Nelson look at him with wide eyes before continuing quickly:
- You... Do you believe me?!
Bill nodded and replied:
- Yes, you are probably telling the truth. In this world, a flock of dragons is probably not the strangest thing.
Delighted by this news, Nelson began to mumble:
— Exclude... grand... GREATNESS!
- Now follow me, I'll show you them, and with these dragons we can eat their hearts and become immortal! Think about it!! Eternal life!
While disassembling the lift, Bill said:
- Oh? Immortality, huh?
Hearing the casual tone in Bill's voice, Nelson roared:
- Yes! Immortality! I offer it to you! To me and to you!
When the lift's mountings were removed, Bill stepped out in front of the huge fat man and looked around the room. Nelson was too fat to fit through the door, so he had obviously been carried over the wall.
Quickly finding the panels, Bill unlocked the locks and removed a huge section of the wall.
Seeing that Bill continued to act calmly, Nelson shouted again:
- You don't believe me? You don't care?!
Tired of his screams, Bill walked up to Nelson and grabbed him by one of his huge cheeks.
"Listen," Bill said.
- I don't know if you're right or not, but I don't think you're lying.
Then, grabbing the man by his large belly, Bill felt it, figuring out how to lift him without breaking bones under the weight of his own body.
"But so what?" he continued.
- Look at yourself. You want immortality? What have you ever done in your fat life to deserve that?
"No..." Bill said, lifting Nelson onto his shoulder. Not roughly, but gently enough not to break his ribs.
Nelson groaned and farted as Bill jumped to the ground, landing from the second floor.
With a grim expression on his face, Bill continued:
"You don't deserve immortality, Nelson. But you deserve something else.
With that, Bill opened the door to the Marines' quarters and called them in. Masterson, Carol, and Yoko came out and were amazed at the size of the fat Second Mate.
"What is this monster?!" Yoko pointed out, while Carol hid behind her stunned father.
Just as Nelson was about to respond angrily, Bill pinched his huge cheek and spoke first:
- This is Nelson Royal, our new crew member.
"Is that a man?!" the girl screamed again, and, repeating the same gesture, Bill stopped Nelson again, pinching him on his fat cheek.
- Yes, it is a man. His name is Nelson, and he is our new crew member.
Then, turning around, Bill said over his shoulder:
— We were just talking about what he deserves. I don't think he deserves much, but I still think he should be given a chance to walk again.
Masterson: - Captain, what can a man... like him do?
This time Bill didn't interrupt Nelson, and jumping on Bill's shoulder, the man shouted:
- I am Nelson Royale! Fifth in line to the throne of the Kingdom of Frous! I will not allow you commoners to treat me like this!
As he said this, Bill shook his shoulder and Nelson's breathing became wheezy.
Bill approached one street vendor and bought a wooden stick and a rope. Then he went to another and bought three poor quality sponges and two coarse linen sheets.
After purchasing these few items, he handed them over to Yoko, and seeing this, Nelson began to ask what they were for.
Bill didn't answer right away, but the scene of him walking around town with Nelson on his shoulder caused such a stir that Tashigi and a squad of Marines rushed to find out what was going on.
Seeing who it was, Tashigi smiled and offered to show Bill the way to the caravel, to which he agreed.
As they headed toward the docks, Bill turned and said to Masterson,
"He's no nobleman. Nelson is Second Mate here. You're his senior, Masterson, and as long as he's in my department, that's the way it'll be."
Hearing this, Masterson nodded slowly, but Bill noticed that he felt uncomfortable.
"Are all nobles like this?" Carol asked, but her father quickly stopped her.
Bill shook his head and replied:
- No, Carol, not all nobles look like that. Nelson is simply ill and does not realize it.
Yoko: How can he be sick and not know it?
Bill shrugged, shook Nelson again and replied,
"Such a disease does not occur overnight, and its symptoms may be invisible to the person himself.
