"Well, it looks good."
Peter nodded with a touch of satisfaction as he admired the necklace.
"Ahem, I'm not planning to wear it out just because it looks good. Something that expensive could easily cause trouble," Judy said as she walked over to the mirror and examined herself.
"This is Mo Kesi's territory. You're practically their second-in-command now. Who would dare rob you here?" Peter asked.
"It's not about that. It's still not appropriate to wear out casually. I'll save it for special occasions," Judy replied, shaking her head and carefully placing the necklace back into its box.
"Peter, do you still remember what I told you about Genting?" she asked, her expression turning serious.
Peter chuckled lightly. "Of course I remember. I told you before, and I'll tell you again—I'll support you whenever you decide to overthrow Genting. Whether it's now or in the past, I've got your back."
Peter had always been the type to do whatever he pleased. If he hadn't been slightly cautious at the beginning, he would have burned Genting to the ground himself.
"Then I'm going to reach out to some old contacts. If you want to start preparing things here, go ahead," Judy said.
"Go ahead. I'll be waiting right here."

Peter looked at the young woman standing in front of him and couldn't help the slight twitch at the corner of his mouth.
"Judy, when you said you were calling up some old contacts, did that include Rebecca from 673?"
"Peter, you sound like you're not happy to see me," Rebecca said, putting on a hurt expression that was almost convincing.
"That's not it. I'm just curious—how do the two of you even know each other?"
"It wasn't easy!" Rebecca grinned. "Judy and I are two of the top players in your game—APEX."
Apparently, while playing APEX with Judy, Rebecca had learned that Peter was the CEO of Beyond Game Company—and that APEX had been perfected under his leadership.
"Ah, that makes sense now."
"So come on, Peter! You said you'd play with me before, but I still haven't seen you touch a controller," Rebecca pouted, clearly frustrated with his aloofness despite her constant flirting.
"Haha! Peter, seems like you've been making promises you don't keep," Judy teased.

After their banter, the three of them took the elevator straight up to Genting.
"You… You're the guy from last time!"
As soon as Peter walked through the doors, the receptionist's face went pale, as though she'd seen a ghost.
She hadn't forgotten him—not just because of his striking looks, but because the last time he came to Genting, he had pulled out a gun and started shooting. After Peter left, she went in to see the aftermath.
Every arrogant member of the Tiger Claw Gang who used to treat their sex puppets like garbage had been killed.
And then there was the wooden man—his gruesome death was etched into her memory forever.
"Peter, what did you do to leave such a deep impression?" Judy asked, eyeing him with curiosity.
"Something happened the last time I was here," Peter said with a helpless smile. "I wiped out the entire Tiger Claw Gang. But I didn't touch any innocent people," he added, raising his hands to show his innocence.
"Judy? What brings you to Genting?" the receptionist asked in surprise.
"I'm here to see Maeda Maiko. Is she available?" Judy asked.
"Uh… one moment, I'll let her know right away." The receptionist was clearly nervous, but Peter's calm demeanor helped her relax enough to comply.
She quickly picked up the phone. "Miss Maiko? Judy is here to see you… Yes, I'll tell her. Thank you."
She turned back toward them. "Miss Maiko said you can go directly to her office."
Judy led the way, and Peter and Rebecca followed close behind. Peter put on a mask—he had erased the security footage from his previous visit, but he didn't want to risk being recognized by any of the sex partners who might have seen him up close.
As they made their way through the halls to Maeda Maiko's office, everything seemed strangely calm and unchanged.
---
Inside the office, Maeda Maiko was finishing a call with a client.
"Yes, yes, don't worry. We'll have everything ready just the way you like it. I've got someone here now, so I'll call you back."
She hung up and turned to greet her unexpected visitors.
"Judy, long time no see. I wasn't expecting you today. Can I offer you something to drink?"
Maiko approached with a warm smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Maiko, I came to talk business. Something serious," Judy said firmly, glancing at Peter to gauge his reaction.
Seeing that Peter remained calm and unaffected, she felt reassured and continued.
Maeda Maiko's smile faded quickly. "Is this about what you mentioned on the phone last time? If so, you can leave right now—I'm not interested."
"But I told you I'd take care of everything," Judy replied.
"Take care of it? How?" Maiko scoffed. "With the Mo Kesi Gang? The Tiger Claw Gang still runs operations in your neighborhood. You need to know your place, Judy. This game is too dangerous for you."
She paused, her gaze shifting to Peter.
"And don't get any ideas just because someone whispered a few sweet words in your ear," she added pointedly.
Peter remained silent, calmly meeting her eyes without flinching.
"Maiko, I've thought it through. I'm committed. Whatever it takes, I'll handle Genting's issues to the end," Judy said, her tone unwavering.
Maiko crossed her arms, clearly annoyed. "Say what you want. I don't want to keep arguing with you."
Then she added, more sharply, "You have two options—either leave quietly now, and I promise no one will stop you… or I'll call the Tiger Claw Gang and let them escort you out."
She turned to Peter and Rebecca.
"And the two of you—do you even understand who's backing Genting? You think you can just walk in and mess with us?"
Unbeknownst to Maeda Maiko, she had been away reporting to the Tiger Claw Gang boss during Peter's previous visit—the one where he had wiped out their entire operation. She had no idea who he really was.
Peter sat quietly, but his gaze was sharp. He didn't speak, but there was an air of confidence about him that made the room feel heavier.
Judy stepped forward. "If you're not going to support me, Maiko, then at least don't stand in the way. This is happening—with or without your approval."
Maiko's expression darkened. "You'll regret this, Judy."
"We'll see," Judy replied coldly, then turned to leave. Peter and Rebecca followed silently behind.
