Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Puzzle

Since he intended to call the tree Little Garden, there was no way he could leave the island of Little Garden out of it.

When he arrived at the island, Little Garden, he used Psychokinesis, lifting the island from the sea, and then used Teleport, appearing on the other side of the line, in the New World.

When he appeared, the girls who saw this could no longer be shocked; they were numb...

As if assembling a puzzle, he fitted the island, Little Garden, into place.

To secure it, he used clones that quickly did so in a swift and practical manner.

Meanwhile, in Ohara, the people who had returned from the dead... were beginning to try to better understand their situation.

Olvia, Robin's mother, on the other hand, tried to find her daughter but couldn't even find a trace of her.

'Was she not revived, or did she manage to survive?' That was her thought.

Zaydas, who had finished connecting Little Garden, appeared before her, startling her.

"Hello," he said. "You must be Olvia, right?"

"Yes, and who are you?" She stepped back slightly, becoming defensive.

"Zaydas, The Traveler," he said, tossing a golden fruit in her direction. "As a symbol of our first meeting. Take it."

She caught it, observed it, but didn't eat it. She kept looking at Zaydas, who was floating a few meters off the ground, without lowering her guard.

"No need to be on guard with me," Zaydas said. "If I wanted to do something, I wouldn't have revived all of you in the first place."

"So it was you!" she exclaimed.

"You must be curious about your daughter, Robin, right?" Zaydas asked, already knowing the answer.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" Olvia seemed anxious.

"Yes, she's fine," Zaydas said. "But it can't be said that she's had an easy life. After all, since she was eight, she's been a wanted person."

"..." Olvia fell silent, lowering her head, seemingly feeling guilty.

Zaydas' lips curved into a smile. "Actually, I know where she is. If you wish, I can bring her to you."

"Why are you doing this?" she finally asked.

"Because I can, and I want to," Zaydas replied. There was not the slightest hint of doubt or deceit in his words.

There are things we simply do because we want to, without any deep explanation, and that was the case with Zaydas.

Using them to read the poneglyphs and uncover the history of the past century in this dimension? He could do that himself. After all, even before being the God of Twilight, he was a Devil and could understand all existing languages, even in texts.

So, it all came down to the desire to want and do something and having the power to do it.

Olvia: "I..."

───────────

Nico Robin, a tall and slender girl with shoulder-length black hair and blue eyes. She was with a new pirate crew she had recently joined after demonstrating the power of her Akuma no Mi.

At the ship's bow, she had a distant look as she leaned against the railing.

Her long, thin, and defined nose soured as she let her mind wander.

Wearing clothes that made her less feminine, she still couldn't completely hide her charm as a woman.

She knew that even though she was 'part' of this pirate crew, she needed to look out for herself as a woman.

'Another attempt,' she murmured in her mind.

But when she blinked, she felt as if the ground had disappeared from beneath her, and when she opened her eyes, she was utterly shocked.

"I... I don't..."

Olvia stopped mid-sentence, bringing her hands to her mouth as she saw the young adult woman before her.

Tears began to fill her eyes.

"My God, is it... Robin? She's already become a young woman..." she murmured softly, her shoulders trembling.

Robin, who opened her eyes, blinked and tried to understand what was happening.

Just a few seconds ago, she was on a pirate ship, but suddenly, she appeared on solid ground and...

'Mom?' She could recognize the woman before her but didn't dare to hope.

How many times had her mind played tricks like this in her dreams? How many times had she dreamed of returning to Ohara, and it was all just a cruel nightmare?

While for Robin, it seemed like a situation she couldn't believe was real, Olvia was worried about having left her daughter in pursuit of her dream, and because of that, she and her group, who tried to uncover the true history of the past century, brought about the destruction of Ohara.

'Does she hate me?' Olvia felt insecure.

"Ouch!"

On the other hand, Robin, who pinched her own arm hard, instantly turning it red, cried out in pain but stopped when her entire body trembled.

"Mommy?" Even now, she was still struggling to believe.

"Mhm, it's me," Olvia confirmed. She seemed to want to go and hug Robin but held back, biting her lower lip hard.

However, while Olvia was restraining herself, afraid of Robin's reaction, Robin threw herself toward Olvia, hugging her tightly while her body, which had faced storms and tempests, seemed soft and incredibly small in Olvia's arms.

"I missed you so, so much!" she cried out, sobbing loudly.

Even knowing she had never truly played the role of a mother, Olvia still loved her daughter. Feeling Robin's strong emotions in her arms, Olvia could no longer stay strong and began to cry as well.

Zaydas, who witnessed this scene, left without making a sound.

"You're back," Grayfia was the first to notice when Zaydas teleported near them.

Turning around, the girls saw him too.

"Welcome back, Zaydas-sama~" Ravel smiled beautifully.

"Mhm," Zaydas nodded.

Flying with a pair of wings, the pinscher, Maylon, reached him.

When he landed on Zaydas' head, Maylon stood on all fours and exclaimed with a slightly trembling voice, "Ohh, ohh, I feel so... powerful! I'm on the head of a God!"

"Maylon, stop fooling around!" Ravel puffed out her cheeks while stomping one foot on the ground.

That scolding look from her made Maylon shiver.

"Yes..." With a restrained bark, Maylon flew and landed on Ravel's outstretched hand.

"Good boy," she touched Maylon's little head, saying, "Go play with Shadow and the others."

"... Okay." Even though he didn't seem to want to, Maylon still flew from her hand and soon began to transform.

When he became a horse-dog hybrid, Maylon ran very fast, catching up with the sibling wolves.

"Zay-sama, what are your next steps?" Grayfia asked.

"Mhm... Continue expanding Little Garden's territory a bit, send out some invitations for others to join Little Garden, and then return to our planet," Zaydas replied.
