When Ainsworth had detected the familiar appearance of the assassin team hired by Caspian, it didn't cause any ripples in his heart. After all, he had already deduced that they would target him, so he already knew their information long ago.
It merely surprised him that Caspian loved to court death this much. But even so, it wasn't unexpected for him, as when the choice options were displayed to him before, he had already speculated that it was related to Caspian.
Aside from Caspian, he hadn't offended anyone else as far as he remembered. If Caspian weren't behind this incident, he would be more willing to believe his older sister Kyla had offended than him, as even he in the past didn't offend anyone before he obtained memories of his past life.
With that being said, he didn't care about the assassin team as they were mere ants who could easily be squashed to death by Monster Lords like Skarnax, let alone him.
