Chapter 65 - Goddess?? Bruh No!

Without explaining anything, Akemi asked them to follow her. They moved to a different room. There, Tsunade finally saw who her patient was and why she was asked to perform the mission.

"Back off, everyone," Tsunade said, her tone becoming stricter. Orochimaru understood that Tsunade was serious. He looked at everyone with a kind smile and said, "Step back."

But the smile didn't look kind because he released some chakra, and the pressure on everyone told them how serious he was.

Arriving beside the girl, Tsunade held her hand and checked her body. She noticed a very strong poison in the body, and that it was similar to the poison she had checked before.

"How long has she been like this?" Tsunade spoke with a frown as she stared at the unconscious girl. Akemi, who felt chakra pressure increasing on her, replied, "3-3 days."

"3 days? And when did you all come here?" Tsunade murmured, the frown evident on her face, and she created a clone who left the room without saying anything.

Akemi didn't want to say the answer since she had a bad feeling in her heart, but because of pressure, she spoke, "2-2 days."

"Tsk," Hearing them, Tsunade clicked her tongue. She understood that the girl in front of her was different from the one shown in Konoha Hospital. After all, they arrived at the capital two days ago, must have travelled for a day, not to mention travelling from the Land of Wind.

With the girl's current condition, she should have already died way before even reaching Konoha, considering the poison in her body.

While thinking of all this, Tsunade sent her chakra into the girl's body and tried to cover the poison that had spread in her body.

'What kind of crap have they planned? I can understand why the Teacher sent me here.'

The clone Tsunade had sent away left the Daimyo manor and searched for Akane's location. When the clone found the place, she rushed there, and Akane, who had left a clone, was woken up by it.

He looked at the door, which opened a few seconds later and looking at Tsunade's clone, he asked, "Did something happen?"

"The Land of Wind's Daimyo's daughter. Watch her memories."

Akane had a confused look on his face at Tsunade's words. Originally, they planned to heal her and finish the mission as soon as possible, but now that he heard this, he understood that something was going on, and their journey had been delayed.

"What about her?" Akane asked, and the clone shook her head, making him understand that Tsunade wouldn't be joining. He closed his eyes and tried to look for Daimyo's daughter, and soon he found himself appearing in a different space.

Akane looked at the darkness around him, and his eyes fell on the bed, above which a girl lay and shivered. Appearing beside him, he looked at her with his eyes narrowed and noticed the poison in the girl's body.

"It's okay now," He murmured and removed the poison from the body while also changing the surroundings to warm and bright.

As he changed the surroundings and removed the poison from the body, the girl stopped shivering, and a relaxed expression appeared on her face.

Ignoring that, Akane focused on the memories, something he had tested while on the mission, and a screen-like thing appeared in front of his face.

He noticed that he could access memories directly through the dream space, and he started to scroll through them.

When he was done watching the memories, Akane understood what Tsunade wanted him to know, and a sigh escaped his lips.

"Tsk tsk, brothers want her to die. The father doesn't care because he can have many children. Two girls who look similar have already died from poison. Now, even if she is saved, she would die on the return journey. Unlike others, she isn't even used for political marriage."

Akane murmured with a sigh, and he knew that not even 10% of people in the world lived safely and happily. For Daimyo's family, it was more so, as everyone in the family wanted to become Daimyo and gain power.

'Now that I know this, what can I do?'

Even though Akane knew that Himari's situation was bad and sad, he didn't care much. Instead, he thought of how he could take advantage of the situation.

"Well, well, now that would be interesting."

A plan began to form in Akane's mind, and an evil smile spread across his face. He had been devising a way to travel to Roran and investigate the Dragon Vein there. Looking at Himari with a glint in his eyes, he murmured, "At least you will have a good life because of this. That's the least I can do for taking advantage of you."

Now that Akane knew what to do, he decided to wake her up and start the plan.

"Wake up, girl." He spoke, and Himari, who had been sleeping, felt a voice whispering to her again and again until she opened her eyes. Staring at the blue sky, her eyes widened because she knew that she should have been in a room, and fear gripped her heart when a thought came to her mind.

'Did I die already?'

"No, but you will die soon."

Himari heard a boy's voice, and her eyes widened. She turned around to look in the direction of the voice and saw a pink-haired boy sitting in the air, miraculously not far away from her.

"Who are you?" Himari spoke, and she tried to get up, but a groan escaped her lips as she felt pain spreading throughout her body.

"This is 10% of the pain your body is feeling outside because of the poison you were fed," Akane spoke, half-truth and half-lie to Himari. He wasn't lying about the pain she was feeling, but the intensity was around 50%.

"Outside? What do you mean? Who are you? Where am I?" Himari asked, trying to ignore the pain she was feeling because she was used to it. She tried to get up, and as she looked at Akane, she saw him smiling.

"Yeah, outside in the living world. Your body is lying on the bed, and Tsunade from Konoha is treating you. But it doesn't matter, and you know it, right? After all, you are destined to die by the schemes of your brothers."

"As for who I am, you will find out soon, as well as where you are," Akane said, snapping his fingers. Suddenly, all the pain vanished from Himari's body. At the same time, the surroundings grew dim with clouds obscuring the sky. Himari's eyes widened at the scene. As she gazed at Akane, who was sitting in mid-air, she noticed a light appearing behind him. She heard him continuing, "I am an apostle of the Rabbit Goddess, known as Princess Kaguya."

While saying so, Akane pulled Kaguya into the dream space. He hid her and told her the plan he had made in the meantime. All of this happened in an instant. Even though Kaguya was curious and wanted to know why he was doing so, she knew questions could be asked later.

For now, she had to do what he asked him to. Himari felt a presence appearing in the place. Even though she was not a ninja, somehow she could still feel that someone or something had happened in the place.

Her body instinctively tensed, and when she looked up, she saw someone floating down from the sky. Even though she was already shocked by everything that had happened, when she looked at the person, no, it would be wrong to call her a person because she felt so out of the world to Himari that she didn't know how to even describe her.

"G-Goddess?" Those words escaped her mouth without her knowing anything, and only then did she understand who was in front of her.

"My lady," Akane said as he knelt and kissed Kaguya's hand, and Kaguya kept a cold face while trying so hard to ignore the bubble and giddy feeling she was having in her heart.
