"Any word from the BOSS?" Robin anxiously asked Valentine, who had guarded the Den Den Mushi room. They had escaped Marine Headquarters, following their planned route, and returned to Andia Kingdom.
"No news yet," Valentine shook his head, worried.
"Don't worry. BOSS should be fine. See, news and new bounties are out; he might just be somewhere inconvenient to contact…" MR.5 returned with the newspaper and bounty notices, pleased. Finally, he was a pirate with a bounty over 300 million, and the BOSS wasn't captured.
"Really?" Robin, usually calm, exhaled in relief.
"Look…" MR.5 handed her the newspaper.
Robin calmed completely; having escaped, the BOSS would return here sooner or later.
"Why is everyone so happy? And why are your bounties so high? Uncle has 1.88 billion Beli! I want a bounty too… Maybe when he returns, we can sell him, then let him escape on his own—we'd make a fortune…" Natalie burst in, envious.
"Congrats to Daz Bones on the new bounty."
"Impressive, MR.5, you're now a world-renowned pirate."
The crew celebrated, holding up the officers, delighted their BOSS was safe.
In the pirate world, bounties symbolized infamy and crime to civilians, but for pirates, they represented honor, fame, and strength.
This time, the Dawn Pirates' officers plus captain doubled their total bounty. Elsewhere, a 400–500 million Beli captain would be unattainable—but now?
