Chapter 171 - KOW Chapter 169 Mortals

The four of them looked astonished. The floating island in the sky was already amazing enough. Could gods actually exist here, too? With a roar, the plane swiftly flew past Angel Island and into the skies above the Divine Island.

This unusual aircraft, along with its unavoidable engine noise, instantly attracted the attention of the residents of Skypiea.

"What's that? It's flying in the sky!" The Angels all looked up, curious expressions on their faces as they saw a plane soaring like a giant bird.

Within the Divine Island, the Shandians were hidden in the forest, preparing to launch another assault to reclaim their lost homeland. Just then, they heard a rumbling sound streak across the sky and instinctively looked up.

"What is that thing? It's heading straight toward Enel's place!" Wyper's eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Someone actually dares to fly so brazenly within the Divine Island? Aren't they afraid of that guy?" Kamakiri exclaimed in shock.

The power of God Enel struck fear into all of Skypiea. Within his territory, everyone walked on eggshells. Everyone knew how keen Enel's perception was; no disturbance could escape his senses.

"That strange vehicle can fly, and the people inside are extremely suspicious." Wyper raised a hand, signaling the team to halt.

"This group is heading straight for Enel. Let's observe quietly for now."

His eyes flickered as he stared at the bird-like aircraft heading for the heart of the Divine Island. The others exchanged glances but didn't object. Wyper's reasoning was sound; if this group clashed with Enel, that was something they would love to see.

"Given that guy's personality, he definitely won't tolerate anyone being flashy on his turf!"

Braham laughed, his tone mocking.

The other Shandia warriors chuckled as well. After all, who doesn't enjoy watching a good show?

At the front, Wyper remained calm and focused, watching the aircraft tear through the skies.

At the same time, inside the Divine Nation, Enel, who sat cross-legged on his golden throne, suddenly froze. A wave of electromagnetic signals swept through his mind. Even without looking, he had already sensed the presence of Qin Yi and the others in the aircraft.

"Such audacity… mere mortals, yet you dare behave so recklessly in a god's domain." He bit fiercely into the apple in his hand, a cold smile spreading across his face. "Those who lack manners… should be executed!"

He moved his right hand slightly, extending his index finger.

"Zzzzrrrtt!"

Blue lightning arced out, wrapping around his entire arm.

"By divine decree… I grant you divine punishment! Repent in hell… mortals!"

With a cold laugh, the lightning at Enel's fingertip suddenly vanished.

Meanwhile, in the cockpit of the aircraft, Qin Yi could already see the location of Enel's divine palace. Buggy and the others peered down from the sky and took in the full view of Jaya Island.

"Down there… those are ancient ruins!" Robin exclaimed in amazement, her curiosity piqued.

"Don't rush. Once we're done with our main objective, we'll take a look. I believe you'll find some interesting things here." Qin Yi said softly.

Hearing this, the four of them looked even more intrigued. Suddenly, Ace's expression changed. He pointed ahead.

"Careful, lightning!"

Qin Yi's eyes sharpened as he quickly maneuvered the aircraft to dodge.

"BOOM!"

A giant bolt of pale blue lightning struck exactly where the plane had just been, splitting the trees below in half.

"What's going on? Why is there lightning? It's broad daylight!" Buggy exclaimed.

The others were also still rattled. That lightning bolt had come out of nowhere, and with such power. If it had hit them, the plane would've been destroyed for sure.

But Qin Yi's eyes twinkled, and he smiled faintly.

"Looks like the owner of this place… isn't too fond of us."

With a sigh, Qin Yi suddenly pushed the throttle forward, rapidly increasing the plane's speed.

"VROOOM!"

The engine roared as the aircraft turned into a streak of light, shooting straight toward the Divine Nation. Inside the divine palace, Enel, still seated cross-legged on his throne, narrowed his eyes, now sharp as blades.

"You're quite nimble, aren't you? Then let's try again!"

"Divine Punishment!"

Even thicker bolts of lightning burst forth, tearing through the void, and in an instant appeared above the plane carrying Qin Yi and the others.

"Zzzt!"

The sky suddenly lit up, and an even more massive lightning bolt streaked across the heavens, aimed straight at their aircraft. Qin Yi squinted, and three Tomoe appeared in his eyes, quickly spinning into the shape of the Mangekyō Sharingan. He tracked the fleeting arc of lightning and reflexively steered the plane to the side.

"Boom!"

The lightning narrowly missed again, shattering five massive trees in a row and turning the ground beneath them into scorched earth.

"This is terrifying! What's with this lightning?!" Buggy shouted in fear, clinging to the window.

"I already said the master of this place isn't exactly welcoming. So… Time to speed up!" Qin Yi's gaze sharpened.

The two lightning strikes were clearly intended to destroy them. Enel's actions sparked a fire of anger in Qin Yi's heart.

Such rudeness, unforgivable.

"Whoosh!"

The plane turned into a streak of light in the sky, approaching supersonic speeds, leaving behind an earsplitting roar in the upper atmosphere.

Despite Qin's Nation's underdeveloped tech, this engine was running at nearly its limit.

"Oh? Truly surprising to a god like me!" Enel's eyes narrowed as he watched the mysterious aircraft dodge yet another lightning strike. He stood up from his throne.

He looked ahead; his ears were already picking up the roar of the approaching engines.

"So fast... and coming straight for me? You've got some nerve!"

With a single step, Enel vanished in a flash of lightning. Outside the Divine Palace, the trembling plane arrived overhead. The four people inside were visibly shaken.

"Everyone off the plane!" Qin Yi smashed open the cabin door with one punch. Wind howled in, sending his black hair and robe flying wildly.

"How the hell do we get down?!" Buggy shouted, panicked.

"We jump!" Qin Yi yelled back, then leapt into the air without hesitation.

Ace and the others twitched at the corners of their mouths. They hadn't expected Qin Yi's earlier joke about jumping to actually come true.

"Don't hesitate, Buggy, jump!" Sanji stood behind the reluctant Buggy. Seeing his hesitation, he gave him a swift kick.

"Aaaahhh!" A string of screams echoed through the air.

Knowing it would be too late if they waited any longer, the others gritted their teeth and jumped as well. Moments later, the plane crashed with a thunderous boom into the Palace Hall up ahead, igniting a massive blaze that shot several meters into the sky.

At the Divine Palace gates, Qin Yi slammed down like a meteor, shattering the ground beneath him into pieces.

Right behind him, Ace and the others landed one after another. When it came to Buggy, he crashed down hard on his butt, screaming in pain.

"Zzzt!"

Suddenly, a pale blue arc of lightning exploded into the air, and from within it, a towering figure stepped forth.

"You people… really are bold! Mortals!!"
