The Alabasta Incident, the Tenryuubito Incident, the 2v2 Battle Event, and finally the shocking bounties, all of them pushed the name of Qin's Nation to a status on par with the Shichibukai and even the Yonkō.
Ever since those events, Qin Yi could vaguely sense that Qin's Nation had begun to subtly intertwine with the rules of this world.
Without hesitation, he immediately ordered the Parliamentary Institute to extend influence to neighboring island nations, rapidly expanding and strengthening their power.
First, he dispatched a grand army to cut off the Marines' reinforcements, stationed Uchiha Madara as a deterrent, then set his sights on the islands west of Alabasta and headed toward Twin Cape.
Over these past days, the nation's power has grown rapidly. His King's Power was also climbing swiftly, and his connection to this world's laws and principles had grown tighter and clearer.
"At this pace, if I can bring half of the first half of the Grand Line under my control... then I can begin constructing the Realm Gate."
Qin Yi's gaze was deep and sharp as he thought of this.
Once the Realm Gate is successfully built, the army from the King's World will no longer be bound by limitations. When millions of troops arrive, conquering this world will become far easier. Of course, according to the Parliamentary Institute's plan, brute force should not be the primary method for dealing with this world.
This world, teeming with oceans, dreams, and wondrous Abilities, holds immense value to Qin's Nation. If it is damaged too severely, it would be a great loss. The annexation of surrounding island nations was managed by the Parliamentary Institute and the Three Generals, whom Qin Yi trusted.
The Three Generals may seem unremarkable on the surface, but their strength was solidly Kage-level. Even in a fight against the Admirals, they wouldn't fall behind. However, with Madara's overwhelming presence before, they had little chance to shine.
But in the days after the surrounding battles began, the auras of Qin Lin and the other two exploded into full display.
As for Qin Yi, he was currently focused on recruiting Enel from the sky and annexing Skypiea.
"Goro Goro no Mi (Rumble-Rumble Fruit)'s ability is incredibly useful."
His eyes gleamed, though internally he frowned.
Enel, as shown in the original work, was not someone easy to deal with. Qin Yi would need the ability to defeat him in one strike. There's no denying that Logia Devil Fruit powers and their elementalization are very difficult to counter.
At least in the Naruto World, attacks that can counter elementalization are quite limited.
Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push), which can repel all things, counts as one. Clashing pure energy is another. The rest rely on catching the brief moments between elemental and physical form.
But without a doubt, if he had Busoshoku Haki (Armament's Haki), things would become much easier.
"Busoshoku Haki, huh..."
Frowning slightly, Qin Yi deeply coveted this unique Pirate World technique.
Every world had its unique traits. As a King who roamed the Myriad Realms, aside from conquering and recruiting powerful subordinates, he also sought to obtain these bizarre and powerful abilities. Only by acquiring and fusing these world-specific traits could he become truly omnipotent, comparable to a Spiritual God.
"Your Majesty, everyone else is ready. The Skypiea operation can begin." While he was deep in thought, a smiling woman wearing a cowboy hat walked up.
"Robin." Qin Yi turned to look.
"Sanji is bickering with Buggy again, and Ace is drinking, bored, and lonely in the bar. You've been here for quite a while, Your Majesty. Is something troubling you?" Robin asked curiously.
Back when she had witnessed Qin Yi sink Aokiji into the sea with her own eyes, Robin was filled with shock and fear. But to her surprise, he had extended an invitation.
"Lost girl adrift at sea... do you truly desire a home? Join us. You no longer need to live a life of hiding and struggle. Moreover, I will take you across this world. Everything you've longed to see, everything you've wanted to know, you will see it all in time."
Just those three simple lines had made Robin's eyes glisten. She stared into his eyes for a long time, feeling a strange illusion that this man before her understood her completely.
Whether it was for survival or the questions in her heart, Robin chose to join.
"It's not exactly something troubling me, just something I've been debating internally,"
Qin Yi shook his head.
Busoshoku Haki (Armament's Haki) wasn't something he needed. He still had many ways to suppress Devil Fruit abilities, for instance, a Seastone Ancient Sword that had recently been successfully forged.
The sword's design followed the style of ancient Chinese weaponry from the pre-Qin era, majestic, dignified, and solid, very fitting for Qin Yi's identity. Because of this, he named it the "Qin Sword."
At the moment, this sword was strapped to his back.
As for the ancient legends of Chinese Immortals and Sword Immortals, Qin Yi had always longed for them. But he also knew very clearly that with his current strength, venturing into xianxia-style immortal worlds would still be too risky.
Just from the civilization rank judgment system alone, he could sense the vastness and grand scale of such worlds.
It could be said that worlds involving immortals and demons were on a whole different level compared to anime worlds like Naruto or One Piece.
Robin, hearing Qin Yi say this, showed a trace of confusion on her face, but didn't ask further.
"Well, since everyone's ready, let's get moving!" Qin Yi didn't delay further and turned to leave.
He had been lingering in Magic Valley Town to try his luck, hoping to find someone who had mastered Busoshoku Haki (Armament's Haki). But after several days, there had been no results.
But just then, Qin Yi suddenly stopped walking.
His brows lifted slightly, and he looked ahead. There, a tall, athletic man dressed in coarse cloth was calmly striding toward him.
When the man reached five meters in front of Qin Yi, he halted.
"King of Qin's Nation, Ying Zheng?" The man's face was solemn, and he asked in a deep voice.
"I am he. And you are?" Qin Yi looked him over for a moment, and his gaze brightened slightly.
"My name is Baaki. I've been practicing 'Martial Arts' since the age of four. I'm now forty-five. I heard His Majesty is incredibly strong, and I came to test myself." Baaki spoke in a deep voice.
Qin Yi's eyes narrowed. He understood, this man before him was likely looking to make a name for himself.
He chuckled coldly and extended his right hand. "Very well, come then."
On the street, nearby pirates all turned their attention to them. When Qin Yi first arrived in town, many had tried to challenge him. But after one by one had been killed, the challengers dwindled.
No one seemed to recognize this Baaki, meaning he wasn't anyone famous, but the fact that he dared to challenge Qin Yi now clearly meant he possessed formidable strength.
Everyone was curious about Baaki's fate.
Soon, Baaki's expression grew serious and focused. He suddenly clenched his fist tightly.
"WOMMMM!!"
In the air, a strange energy began to swirl and quickly enveloped his fist, then his entire arm. Once the whole arm was wrapped in this power, Baaki roared and charged at Qin Yi with incredible speed.
"Is that--?!"
"Busoshoku Haki (Armament's Haki)?!"
Across from him, Qin Yi was shaken. Sensing the Martial Arts that Baaki claimed to have trained for forty-five years, he was stunned.
