"You'll be able to overwhelm anyone with spell casting" Faylen spoke as she handed the bracelet to Roman.
"Why would you want me to have this? I'm sure you know the Queen doesn't want me to attend the academy. Why would you do something that is clearly against that?" Roman asked.
"Because you should do what you want, and I do want Aurelia to win the tournament, just in case you come across her before the Firefrost girl does, you could win" Faylen replied.
Roman was skeptical about this. There was really no reason for her to want to help him; instead, she should want him to lose so that he would have to live in the palace.
Roman took the bracelet off her hands, and she had a smile on her face as he did, then he loosened it and wore it on his left hand.
