A small fire arrow shot out suddenly from the circle, straight toward Ava's bed.
It hit the sheets.
*BOOM!*
Smoke shot up, and a corner of the sheet started burning.
"Roman!" Ava shouted as she stood up. If Roman didn't move his hand, she could have been blasted with the spell.
Roman ran forward and stomped on the sheets, trying to put out the fire.
Ava immediately pulled him away, and ice formed on top of the flames. The ice turned into water, splashing all over the bed.
Steam hissed into the air.
A moment later, the fire was out.
They both stood there, staring at the slightly burnt sheets with Ava tapping her legs on the ground.
Ava sighed, wiping water off her face. "Well… congrats, you cast the spell."
Roman scratched the back of his head. "Guess I still need to work on control."
"No kidding," Ava said, shaking her head. Then she laughed a little. "At least it wasn't the pillow casing, you would have been in debt to me all your life"
