More Information About System.

The Transmigrator Codex is the repository for all tarot cards.

When an individual becomes a transmigrator, the Codex alerts the Old Man to provide them with a tarot card.

The Old Man, who serves as the Distributor, hands over the tarot card; however, it represents a potential power that has yet to become active.

Following this, both the Codex and the Old Man assess whether the individual is deserving or prepared.

If they prove worthy, the Old Man requests a True Deity to activate the card.

Upon activation by the True Deity, the power of the tarot card is unleashed, granting the transmigrator their abilities.

You might wonder why the two of them (Ryuta and Roy) didn't receive a tarot card despite being transmigrators.

The reason lies in the fundamental rule: one must not be an anomaly.

Reasons for the Transmigrator Codex's Rejection of Ryuta

Ryuta is afflicted by the Return By Death (RBD) curse, a unique and volatile ability that causes him to die and restart over and over.

The Codex perceives RBD as a disruptive anomaly—someone who deviates from the standard protocols of transmigration and the progression of power.

Since Ryuta's presence disrupts the natural order of fate and cycles, the Codex cannot correctly incorporate him into the tarot card framework.

Permitting his acceptance could endanger or corrupt the balance the Codex strives to uphold among transmigrators.

As a result, the Codex declines to grant Ryuta a tarot card or awaken his powers.

This refusal positions Ryuta as a wildcard outside conventional systems, rendering his journey distinct and enigmatic.

Reasons for the Transmigration Codex's Rejection of Roy

The Transmigration Codex issues tarot cards with specific, specialized abilities—each card is intended to bestow one clear power.

Although Roy possesses various skills, he does not excel in any particular area to a noteworthy degree.

Due to his lack of a specific, specialized ability that fits the criteria for a single tarot card, the Codex cannot assign him a card.

The Codex turns him away because he does not conform to the one-power-one-card principle.

While Roy's versatility makes him a skilled "jack of all trades," it does not align with the stringent requirements of the Codex system.
