"Narya, I am thankful that you blocked that punch for me and tried to protect me, even though I don't need you to, yet get the hell off of me," Damian said to Gray as he tried to push Gray off of him.
Gray just rolled off of Damian and lay on his stomach. Then he asked Damian as he took out a leaf from his pocket and chewed it, "Yo, Damian, did you break anything?"
"No, and do not say our real names at all, you idiot."
"It doesn't even matter if I do because we're not even in our universe at the moment."
"What?" Damian asked as he stood up quickly.
"Wait, I said it wrong. We're actually not even in our own multiverse," Gray said as he corrected himself while slowly getting up from laying down.
"Oh, pardon me, what I was meant to say was WHAT?!" Damian yelled out as he grabbed Gray's shoulders and made Gray look him in the eyes. Then Damian asked, "How are you possibly so sure of that?!"
"I don't feel The Green at all," Gray answered Damian.
Damian froze when he was told that. Then he said to Gray, "Explain now."
"Ok, well, bear with me for a moment because this explanation is a little weird, but it makes sense," Gray said as he summoned his backpack and pulled out two water bottles and gave one to Damian, who looked at the bottle, then took it and opened it. Gray took a deep breath, then he said, "Ok, The Green is an elemental force that connects all plant life throughout the universe, and every universe in our whole multiverse has that elemental force. So if I can not feel it at all, that means that we are not even in our own damn fucking multiverse."
"...That was a horrible explanation, but it does have some reason to it, so I will accept it for now, Galena," Damian said as he gave the bottle back to Gray and Gray put it in his backpack. Then Damian said, "We should find a place to hide and some information about where we are."
Gray grabbed Damian and put him on his shoulders. Then Gray bent his legs and jumped up to the roof.
Once on the roof, Gray put Damian down, who took out small binoculars and started to look around the city from the roof that they were on.
"Well, safe to assume there are heroes in this world," Gray said as he pointed at the metal-armored man flying around the city.
"That is some interesting armor, but I believe that Father could make something better than that," Damian said as he looked at the armored man flying around. Then Damian said, "We will need to change our clothing to look like normal folks."
"I got some clothes in my backpack for us to wear."
"I doubt that you have clothing that are my size."
"I do. BW gave me like 3 sets of clothes for each member of the Batfam to wear because in case we had to change our clothes fast."
"And where am I going to change my clothing at?"
Gray smiled at Damian, then Gray grabbed Damian and shoved him inside the backpack.
Gray then looked at the city and said to himself quietly, "Fucking hell, I'm in Marvel with Damian. I wonder who the Sorcerer Supreme is in this universe because that's kind of the only person I need to worry about a little bit, and the person that I have to worry about a lot is the Phoenix Force because I am kind of similar to it."
After a bit, Gray reached into the backpack again and pulled out Damian, who had changed clothes into something normal now and had a katana in his hands.
"You have many weapons in there and a lot of food too, but if you ever do that again without my permission, then I will take one of your limbs," Damian told Gray as he inspected the katana. Then he asked, "Where did a simpleton like you get a katana like this that is so well made?"
"I made it a few days ago because I was bored," Gray answered Damian as he pulled out a jacket from his backpack and put it on and took off his mask.
"Huh, no wonder it feels clumsy and unbalanced."
"It's like that because you're not bonded to it."
"...Explain."
"That katana has four runes that I put on it. The first one is to make it way more durable. The second one is to keep the edge from ever dulling and to be sharp forever. The third one is to make it lighter in the user's hand while still having its cutting force. Then the last one is a soul bond one—it makes it so that the katana feels alive, perfectly balanced, and responsive to you and you only," Gray said as he pointed to each rune on the sword.
"...Let's say that I want to bond myself to it. How do I do it?"
"Yeah, I'm not going to tell you at the moment because I will let you sleep on that before you decide that you're going to do that," Gray said as he took the katana from Damian. Then he said, "Also, this is on the way weaker side of things that I can make."
"Gray, if you can make a powerful katana, then I will be forever in your debt," Damian said to Gray while looking in his eyes.
"...Deal."
"Good, we have an agreement. Now we are going to have to find somewhere to lay low for a while as Father and the rest make a new machine," Damian said as Gray grabbed him and jumped off the building.
"How about we head to a library to use the free computers so we can get some info about this world?" Gray asked as he set Damian down and they started to walk down the sidewalk.
"Good idea, and honestly, Gray, you should start to use your head more often."
"I am going to dropkick you."
"You can try to, yet I promise you that it will not land on me."
Gray rolled his eyes at Damian, then he said, "We should make a quick stop at a café real quick so that we can get some directions to the library around here."
"Why a café?"
"I want some coffee right now."
Damian just sighed at Gray's response, and they both started to head to a café that was up the street.
While they both walked, Gray grabbed a newspaper that was on the floor and tried to read it, yet Damian took it for himself and started to read it.
"Asshole," Gray said to Damian.
"Imbecile," Damian snapped back at Gray.
As they entered the café and waited in line, Damian asked Gray, "Why is that sketchbook of yours so full of weapon designs in it?"
"Oh, I make those in class when I'm bored and got nothing better to do," Gray answered him, not really caring that Damian looked into the sketchbook in his backpack.
Damian nodded his head at the answer that he got and did not press more for now.
Once they both got to the counter to order, Gray said, "Hello, I would like a red velvet chocolate chip muffin and a large cup of coffee with almond milk."
"What kind of coffee grounds do you want?" the employee behind the counter asked Gray.
"Yaucono."
"Got it, and would there be anything else?"
"I will take a blueberry muffin."
"Is that all, sirs?"
"Yeah, that will be all," Gray said as he reached into his pocket and took out a wallet.
"Well, that will be 10 dollars and 42 cents, and can I have a name for this order?"
Gray nodded his head as he took out 11 dollars and handed it to the cashier while asking, "Gray, and question—do you by chance know where the nearest library is?"
"Uhm... oh yeah, you will go down this street, then take a left at the stoplight, then take a right, and the NYPL should be there," the cashier answered Gray as he took the 11 dollars and gave 58 cents back to Gray.
"Thanks," Gray said as he put a five-dollar bill into the tip jar. Then he and Damian went to sit down with their muffins while they waited for Gray's coffee in a corner where no one was around them.
"We are in Manhattan, New York," Damian said as he kept reading the newspaper.
"Yeah, we are," Gray said as he started to eat his muffin.
"There are a bunch of heroes in this world."
"Yeah, no shit. It's not like we saw a person in a damn metal suit flying around."
"Well, that person is called Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, or that's what the newspaper says," Damian said as he showed it to Gray.
"It has a nice ring to it."
"It sounds very dumb."
"And you think Batman and Robin sound better?"
"...That's different."
Gray just rolled his eyes at Damian and said, "Let's hope that no one has detected the portal that we fell through."
"People mostly have, sadly."
Gray and Damian sat in silence as Damian decided to re-read the newspaper again to make sure that he didn't miss anything.
While Damian was doing his own thing, Gray just stared at his muffin with a thoughtful look on his face.
"Gray."
That broke Gray out of thought as he and Damian got out of their seats and Gray headed to the counter to get his coffee while Damian went to the door to leave.
"Thanks," Gray said as he grabbed his coffee and headed to the door too.
Once outside, Gray and Damian walked in the direction that the cashier told them the library was at.
"They have their own metahumans in this world, and they are very, very discriminated against by the look of it," Damian said as the two of them turned at the light.
"I bet they are, because the only reason that metahumans are not that discriminated against is because of BW," Gray said to Damian.
After some walking in the street, they got to the library and they both headed to a computer that was away from cameras and people.
"This world has their own version of the JL, and it looks like they mostly only work in America and only really protect America, and they are a form of a government group," Damian said as he read some articles about the Avengers.
"Oh, I 100% bet they only really protect America and its allies. I mean, the leader is called Captain fucking America."
"I would assume that the American government in this world is very, very corrupt."
"I bet it is because based on what BW let me read on the computer back in the BC about our government, then yes, this world's government."
"I am still very surprised that Father allowed you to read the files on the computer."
Gray just shrugged his shoulders at Damian as they both read the articles on the computer while Gray drank his coffee.
"Damn, they have a lot of slurs for metahumans in this world."
"We should get going now. It's getting late, and we have not found a place to sleep at yet."
"You're right."
"Of course I'm right. I'm always right."
"...I am not above beating a child," Gray said as he slapped the back of Damian, who growled at him, and Gray said shocked, "Did you just fucking growl at me?!"
When they walked out of the library, they were met with a car chase happening and a hero called Spider-Man swinging after the car.
"Damn, that dude's got to have some strong-ass muscles to do that."
"Why is that, Gray?"
"Due to the fact that if a normal person was doing what he's doing, then their arm would get ripped off, or in the better situation, then the normal person's whole arm would get dislocated badly, but that has a chance to cause the whole arm to get ripped off too."
"...I always forget that you have all medical knowledge even if you are a complete utter idiot."
"I am going to throw you into the first body of water that I see."
"And I will stab you if you even attempt that action."
Gray just rolled his eyes at Damian and handed him a map that Gray stole from the inside of the library.
"Street rat, of course you are stealing."
"Your dad is literally engaged with the most well-known cat burglar in Gotham City, so you have no say if I steal things," Gray said to Damian.
"Excuse me."
Damian and Gray froze, then they looked behind themselves to see a black lady with white hair.
"Fuck."

[AN: Hello goblins, it is your favorite Hispanic daddy here with a new chapter for y'all so you better be happy or daddy will be angry.
The whole Green explanation is wrong cause let be honest because The Green is all over the omniverse and it just take different names.
Should I make Emma Frost or Xavier, the professor of the mansion?
I am going to go on a little rant right now.
I hate how in most fanfics about Marvel make my goat Scott Summers like he is not some bitch-boi simp, no, you know what he is? He is that fucking man that will not run from a fade, he is the husband to vessel of the Phoenix Force, the leader of the X-man, the face of all mutant kind.
I have change my mind of what kind of weapon that Gray is going to use, I have decide to make it where his Magical Backpack have a bunch of different kind of weapons in it and he will grab the weapon that fit the fight that he is in.
Gray and Damian will be using things like BW for Bruce Wayne, BC for the batcave and so on, cause Gray is very much aware on how bullshit comics are and Damian is doing it to hide information.
A lot of people are going to want to get their hands on Gray cause Gray is the very close to something like a version of the Phoenix Force that most focus on the healing part of it.
Also never get high and watch Xavier Renegade Angle cause it get very weird.]
