Layla reached the balcony to see Michael sitting on the chair, his eyes glued to the never-ending night sky. Feeling dejected and guilty, she approached him, and as usual, Michael felt intimidated, in turn distancing himself.
"I-I'm sorry, Michael… I-I know I've overreacted and…" She paused, seeing Michael trying to leave the scene. Lunging ahead, she caught hold of his arm.
"Listen to me!" She yelled at him, seeing him struggling. Michael's face contorted and before he could use greater force to get rid of her, Layla closed the gap and hugged him tightly. Michael's shoulders stiffened but he didn't part from her.
