Background: Iris is a stateless citizen, born without records anywhere. While desperately attempting to survive as a nomad from the ages of 5-10 and then on her own from 11-17 Iris learned to become deadly and cautious. She is extremely observant and as such was given the occupation of recon upon joining Shadow's team when she was seventeen.
While living in Italy for a short period between the ages of fourteen and sixteen she acquired the nickname "Mortifer" From local Latin speaking scholars and townspeople due to her swift, silent and often deadly aggression when necessary.
She would later modify the nickname to "Mortiferia" because she liked the way it sounded. "Ayesha" was not her birth given name, but one she went by for her whole life.
Her birth given name is and always has been a mystery to her, her mother never called her anything but "Child" and locals from the areas she grew up would only call her rotten things.
Iris met Shadow initially at the age of sixteen, stalking a secret event for the elite. She planned to steal, he planned to kill. As a result they worked together that night and Shadow ended up taking a liking to her. He would later track her down and convince her to join his team.
She would be the second member of the team. Following "Captain" whom, when not on duty, acted as Shadows primary caretaker.
Iris is a slightly below average height woman standing at 152cm or 5 feet tall. Her skin is light but not fair in complexion from her years in the sun. Eyes are a hazel brown colour in the shape regarded worldwide as siren eyes. Her hair is a dusty brown, cut in a jagged wolf style. Not professionally cut because she uses a utility knife most of the time.
She has several white scars on varying parts of her body. Including but not limited to her face, stomach, chest, arms and thighs. All from would-be fatal interactions during her teenage years.
Her weapon of choice is a Bergara Premier MG Lite hunting rifle for its lightweight and compact design, weighing in at only 6.8lbs with an accurate firing distance up to and over 900 meters.
For her sidearm she (along with many others in the crew) prefers the Glock 19 for its customizability and ability to concealed carry.
Alongside her firearms, Iris always carries her tactical combat knives. She has one clipped to her hip, one strapped to her ankle and another one strapped to her back.
Her favourite food is a dish called Maqluba. Iris loves it because when she was young. around the age of seven. A very kind older Syrian woman would often take pity on her and set some aside for her when she made it for her family. Often going as far as to invite her in and share her home for the night.
This generosity and hospitality when she was young is part of the reason Iris is so kind, regardless of her necessary aggression Iris would never turn away a child in need.
