Chapter 15 - Letter from the Year 2090

Genre: Soft Sci-Fi + Reflective

Life Phase: Mature Adulthood (35–45 years old)

Raka works at the national archives as an archivist of old documents. One day, he finds an undated envelope among a pile of 2020 files. Its contents: a long letter written by someone named "Lian".

The letter tells of a world in 2090 that is deserted, full of ruins, but also full of hope. Written by hand, even though in the future, handwriting is considered obsolete.

Strangely, the letter mentions Raka's full name. It even reminisces about his childhood, playing kites in the village, and the name of his dead cat.

"If you are reading this, it means that time can still be folded like paper."

Raka tried to find an archive named Lian. Nothing. He stared at the letter for a long time, then silently wrote a reply.

Somehow... a week later, a new envelope appeared in the same drawer.

Interesting knowledge: In the theory of relativity and quantum, there is the concept of "loop time" or closed time that allows the possibility of time repeating itself—and the concept of wormholes that can "fold" time.

Philosophy: Maybe we don't have to travel to the future—just touch the present with full awareness, then we have changed a small history in our lives.

Strange rumor: In some beliefs, a letter written with full sincerity, then stored in a closed place for seven days, can "arrive" in another dimension or time—not to be replied to, but to be remembered.
