The Velmourn Soldiers were speechless. Their minds were filled with questions. Right now, twenty-seven of them were floating in the air in tight formations, seated on the backs of flying bonds—hawks, eagles, wind serpents, and even a few wyverns.
Each rider wore a worn-out dark leather armor, their weapons strapped across their backs or held in hand. Most had bows; some carried long spears designed for aerial combat.
This was the Velmourn Flying Unit, specialized in fighting in the air. Of course, most of the Flying Unit was together with the Main Unit at the East Coast. The ones here were only the remnants, but considering the grim situation, they had to make do with what they had.
