"You are back."
Kael muttered as he glanced at Lavinia, who had just returned after delivering her lectures. The Princess nodded as she sat beside him. The rest of the guards stared at her—some stared with jealousy, as if trying to curse his existence—but neither Kael nor Lavinia paid much mind to it.
"How was the class?"
Kael questioned.
"Same as always."
Lavinia sighed.
"Their foundation is lacking. Not only are they a few hundred years behind, the path they were on was also the wrong one. The powers that once followed this Magic Path had long fallen or changed their ways because of how inefficient they were."
"No wonder the number of mages here is so low."
Kael commented, and the Princess nodded again.
