Black Zetsu had been sealed surprisingly smoothly.
But what came after was anything but simple.
First—
With a "moon" that huge hanging in the sky, nobody could possibly miss it.
The Allied Shinobi Forces quickly noticed the massive sphere suspended above the heavens—visible even in broad daylight.
It was obviously new.
No need to ask where it came from.
So—
After clearing out the White Zetsu, all the allied forces gathered in the northern region of the Land of Iron, staring up at the sky in stunned silence.
Not a sound.
The most shocked, of course, were Yagura and the Kiri-nin.
Because unlike others—who merely saw the newly formed moon—they had personally witnessed the moon rising from the ocean with their own eyes.
It was too spectacular.
Who could have imagined living long enough to see an entirely new moon created—and in such an eerie, impossible way?
"What in the world happened?"
Ōnoki stared at the sky, then automatically turned to Tsunade.
The legend of the Sage of Six Paths creating the moon—
Even if most people didn't know the full story, they'd at least heard whispers.
But no one had ever believed anyone today could do such a thing.
Yet now…
A giant glowing sphere floated in the sky, shining like a second sun in broad daylight.
Naturally, their first thought was the ancient legend—
Creation of the Moon.
Of course—
Ōnoki's suspicion of Konoha wasn't only because of that legend.
It was simply that, in the entire shinobi world, the only village capable of this…
Was Konoha.
Especially since he'd looked around and failed to see Kanda Kyoichi anywhere.
That brat was too capable of stirring up miracles.
Yagura hesitated for a moment but remained silent, quietly watching Tsunade.
He knew exactly who did it.
Kanda Kyoichi.
He would never forget that chakra presence.
Plus, the Three-Tails inside him had provided additional information—
That man had fused Tailed Beast chakra to create a new, special chakra nature, and the technique he used originated from the Sage of Six Paths himself.
A true Sage Art.
So—
More than anyone, Yagura understood:
Kanda Kyoichi was not someone Kirigakure could afford to provoke.
Not until they clearly understood his intentions.
Tsunade smiled softly.
"That technique is indeed something Konoha has been researching. Its purpose isn't to target any village—but to seal a terrifying entity."
"A terrifying entity?"
Fourth Raikage frowned and glanced at the sky.
"Didn't you say Madara was dead? Don't tell me he escaped?"
"He's dead—but not entirely gone. As I said earlier, Madara obtained the Rinnegan through special means and acquired a level of power close to the Sage of Six Paths."
Tsunade paused.
The other Kage nodded slightly, not interrupting.
Everyone already understood something:
For Konoha to create such a technique…
Their power was now immeasurable.
Perhaps even beyond Hashirama's era.
Certainly not something any other village could provoke.
But—
If they didn't clarify the truth now, while all were gathered and still had some leverage, they would remain in the dark forever.
So even knowing that Konoha couldn't be touched, they still had to ask.
Fortunately—
Konoha didn't seem hostile.
That was the best outcome.
At the perfect moment, Yahiko stepped forward with a very fitting question:
"Even if Madara had the Sage's power… what does that have to do with this technique? Are you saying he couldn't truly die?"
Originally, this line should've been spoken by the Fourth Raikage, but he'd already blurted out his thoughts earlier—stealing Yahiko's role.
Still, Yahiko voiced what everyone wanted to ask.
Tsunade nodded.
"You all know about the Tailed Beasts, yes?"
"Of course."
They might not know exactly how strong the Sage of Six Paths truly was—but they all knew how powerful the Tailed Beasts were.
After all, many villages had their own Tailed Beast.
Containing them was never easy.
In fact—
One major reason the Uzumaki Clan was wiped out was that their sealing ability was too powerful—and people coveted that power.
"Most of our information comes from the Nine-Tails himself. Kurama told us that the Tailed Beasts were originally created by the Sage of Six Paths—through Yin-Yang Release."
"What?!"
A wave of uproar erupted.
The Tailed Beasts were created by the Sage?
They had always believed the Tailed Beasts were a natural disaster—
That even Hashirama believed they were dangerous enough to round up alone.
But now—
They learned they were created by the Sage of Six Paths.
That was…
Mind-blowing.
"Fourth Raikage, your Killer B has a perfect relationship with the Eight-Tails. If you want to confirm it, it shouldn't be too hard."
Tsunade looked toward Raikage.
Really, Kyoichi should have been the one giving this explanation, but Tsunade knew—
Kyoichi would be exhausted after using such a technique.
Asking him to come out now would make Konoha look weak.
Besides—
With Minato guarding her and Kyoichi hidden nearby…
Who would dare make a move?
Raikage thought for a moment.
"Not sure. B never mentioned it. But verifying shouldn't be hard. Personally, I trust your words, Hokage."
"According to Kurama, the Tailed Beasts weren't meant to disrupt the ninja world. Quite the opposite—they were created to protect it."
Tsunade swept her gaze around the circle, finally resting on Rasa and Gengetsu's successor, Mū.
"I'm not telling you to release your Tailed Beasts. But I want you to understand—Tailed Beasts aren't inherently unable to coexist with humans.
More importantly—
If the Sage could create them, then Madara—using Yin-Yang Release—could create something similar."
She brought the discussion back to the real issue.
Everyone present was sharp—they instantly understood the implication.
The greatest trait of Tailed Beasts:
Immortality.
Even if killed, they simply re-form from chakra.
They couldn't truly die.
Only be sealed.
Thus—
The second moon in the sky…
Was created to seal a lifeform created through Yin-Yang Release?
Realization dawned.
Relief washed through the ranks.
"Thank you for clarifying, Hokage. If Konoha hadn't completed this plan—if that thing had escaped—the consequences for the shinobi world would've been disastrous."
Chiyo stepped forward to commend them.
She understood immediately why Konoha acted so cautiously.
Reanimation, resurrection—
Every village had researched such forbidden arts, though none perfected.
But the enemy they faced possessed insane stealth abilities.
If it gained a resurrection jutsu, reviving Uchiha Madara would be far too easy.
Then—
Everything they fought for would be meaningless.
That creature absolutely could not be allowed to roam free.
