[Hahaha!]
[Once again, I barged into the gathering over there, startled all three of them, and even dropped a ton of information. Klein is probably squatting in his bathroom right now, trying to make sense of everything I dumped on him, huh?]
[Haha~ Just thinking about Klein's reaction makes me laugh. He clearly doesn't have the strength to back it up, but he still tries to put on a strong front. This time, his emotions slipped—he hasn't even reached Sequence 8 Clown yet. Without the concealment of Sefirah Castle, his facial expressions completely gave him away.]
[Thankfully, it was all within Sefirah Castle, so Miss Justice and Mr. Hanged Man didn't see it directly. Otherwise, the divine majesty he painstakingly crafted would've been smashed into the ground.]
[Still, watching someone's carefully constructed mask fall apart is always so entertaining. Maybe my personality really is pretty bad.]
[I probably shouldn't mess with people too much… but Klein? Forget it. He's already roped into my side. It'd be a shame not to give him a scare. I already made the trip anyway.]
[This was the second official gathering of the Tarot Club. I guess you could say I've caught up now. But I was only able to manifest there because of the shared nature of Sefirah Castle. Honestly, I crossed over a little too early.]
[As for the story's development over there… ah, my memory's still a bit fuzzy. Come to think of it, I think I read more fanfics than the actual story. No wonder I can't recall the full plot.]
[If I'd known this would happen, I would've read the original more carefully.]
[Still, I revealed a lot of information today, mostly about the Sequences. Plus, I made a deal with them. I'm looking forward to the next Tarot Club gathering. What kind of diary will they bring me?]
[Also, I noticed something interesting. There seems to be a time difference between the worlds.]
[Whether it's fixed or variable still needs further observation.]
[Klein's fate has started to shift due to my interference. He's the story's central figure, and I've already altered some of his thoughts and choices. So... is it safe to say his fate has changed too?]
[I'm really curious.]
The diary ended there.
And Ren had his own unique way of divining fate.
If he could peer into the future of the Lord of Mysteries, perhaps he could harvest something even greater.
So, after writing today's diary, Ren immediately began a new experiment.
[Lord of Mysteries]
[Obtain the uniqueness of the Door Pathway.]
A pair of eyes formed from starlight appeared. They were too pure to be considered human. But if you looked closely, you could see countless doors of various sizes shimmering across the surface of the starlit eyes.
It was undoubtedly the uniqueness of the Door Pathway.
Incidentally, it felt like there were a lot of extraordinary items tied to the Door Pathway. Honestly, it seemed like most Beyonders from the Apprentice Path had been turned into mystical artifacts.
The high sequences of the Door Pathway were basically tragic. Young and promising Beyonders rarely escaped the fate of becoming mere props.
Just like the pair of starlight eyes before him.
They were practically the embodiment of what it meant to be a useful "tool" in the Door Pathway.
Wow… that description was kind of brutal.
Even Ren felt it was a bit too much. He subconsciously rubbed his own eyes.
The moment he did, the pair of eyeballs turned into twin streaks of starlight and shot directly into Ren's eyes.
A burning pain surged through his sockets, causing Ren to flinch in agony.
But the pain passed just as quickly as it came.
After a few moments, the discomfort faded, and Ren slowly opened his eyes.
His once-dark pupils now looked deeper, like vast cosmic space. And within that endless darkness, countless illusory doors floated.
Location… teleportation… recording… Hmm, my eyes still feel a bit sore.
A flood of data poured into his mind, making Ren feel not only eye strain but also a splitting headache.
Still, amidst the pain, he gradually began to grasp the function of the starlight eyes.
They were like stars drifting in deep space. By moving his gaze, he could peer through space, lock onto coordinates, and transmit himself—or others—to the marked location.
It was the power of a god.
The first thing Ren thought of was Kamui from Naruto.
This ability was just too similar.
Recording. It could record the abilities used by Beyonders—or even the skills of ordinary people—and perfectly reproduce them.
It even had a copying ability reminiscent of the Sharingan.
If I wear a mask later, could I cosplay Uchiha Obito too?
Ren lightly shook his head. His vision, already sharp, now felt even more enhanced after merging with the Apprentice Path's uniqueness.
Yes, merging with uniqueness.
This was no minor feat. Accommodating uniqueness was inherently dangerous. Even a single misstep could lead to deviation—or worse, complete loss of control.
But for him? All he felt was some brief pain in his eyes, some mild soreness… and then he was done.
It felt almost like a bad joke.
Ren checked his own state. Other than a slight disturbance in his spirituality caused by the uniqueness, there were virtually no issues with his body.
Everything seemed fine. Maybe I was overthinking it.
In my case, I should be able to host not only multiple source substances, but even individual uniqueness. Especially since it aligns with my three main pathways.
The uniqueness was incredibly powerful. The space-location-transmission ability was not only effective at short range but also worked across long distances.
It was basically a shortcut to acquiring high-level Door Pathway abilities even before reaching demigod level.
But Ren then thought of another issue.
Aside from me, no one at Sequence 8 should be able to accommodate uniqueness.
(To be continued.)
