"...Kid, who are you? Why are you interrupting our battle?"

After the battlefield remained silent for more than ten seconds, the Kaz Gym Leader voiced everyone's burning question.

At this moment, members of both Kaz Gym and Yas Gym finally realized something was seriously wrong, but their pride prevented them from retreating immediately.

"Interrupting your battle? You call this a battle?" Eddie asked with obvious amusement.

Could this kind of disorganized group brawl really be called a battle? If this were a large-scale confrontation between the Pokemon League and Team Rocket, that might qualify as warfare. However, the chaotic scuffle between these two groups of inexperienced trainers was nothing more than amateur fighting.

Eddie's sarcasm and disdain were unmistakably clear, causing members of both Kaz Gym and Yas Gym to bristle with wounded pride. Nobody enjoys being mocked, especially by someone younger than themselves.

However, just as both gym leaders prepared to either argue or berate Eddie, he cut them off entirely.

"I'm not interested in chatting with any of you. Now, everyone squat down with your hands behind your heads," Eddie commanded coldly. "Otherwise, prepare for a hospital visit."

Without waiting for their predictably angry responses, Eddie gestured with his hand.

Snorlax and Garchomp immediately moved to block both groups' escape routes, their imposing presence radiating an aura of "you're finished."

Snorlax maintained its characteristic sleepy expression, making its intentions difficult to read. Garchomp, however, roared several times in an unmistakably taunting manner toward their opponents.

The more timid trainers stepped back several paces in fear, while bolder individuals considered attacking the Dragon-type. However, Garchomp's gym leader-level presence immediately intimidated them into motionless silence.

"Three... two... one... alright, your time to choose has expired. Now, off to the hospital you go," Eddie announced with obvious satisfaction, gesturing again as all his Pokemon sprang into action.

At this point, any reasonable observer could see that Eddie had never intended to give them a genuine choice.

"Wait! Boy, are you mocking us?!" both gym leaders shouted furiously in unison.

Eddie responded with a disdainful, mocking smile that spoke volumes about his opinion of their capabilities.

"Pika pika! Pikachu!" his Electric-type called out energetically.

"Eevee!" his Normal-type added with equal enthusiasm.

Both Pikachu and Eevee rushed directly into the fray, attacking members of both gyms indiscriminately.

Pikachu surged forward with electricity crackling across its entire body, utilizing Spark. While the attack resembled the more powerful Volt Tackle, it possessed considerably less destructive force. However, given their opponents' limited strength, this move proved more than sufficient.

The Electric-type moved like lightning incarnate across the battlefield, systematically knocking down every Pokemon it encountered.

Eevee wasn't about to be outdone, but rather than mimicking Pikachu's rapid assault pattern, it focused on Scyther—one of the strongest opposing Pokemon. Using Swift, it launched multiple stars that tracked their target with perfect accuracy, while following up with powerful physical attacks.

Every Pokemon caught in Eevee's assault path suffered significant damage from the relentless combination attacks.

Among the opposing forces, only Scyther and Electabuzz possessed Elite-level strength, both at level 45. The remaining Pokemon ranged from advanced to intermediate levels. Against Eddie's Elite-level Eevee and Pikachu, these weaker opponents fell with single decisive strikes.

"Gengar, gengar!" Gengar cackled ominously.

"Garde, Gardevoir," Gardevoir called out melodiously.

While the two smallest and most adorable team members wreaked havoc throughout the enemy formation, Gardevoir and Gengar maintained strategic positions rather than charging directly into combat.

As special attackers, they were better suited for long-range offensive support. Additionally, they served as Eddie's personal guardians, ensuring no desperate opponent could launch a direct attack on their trainer or the townspeople.

Gengar laughed with sinister glee while launching Shadow Ball attacks at distant enemies, following up with Dark Pulse to devastating effect, leaving opponents scattered and defeated.

Gardevoir represented the least experienced Pokemon among Eddie's current team, but that designation only applied relative to his other powerhouses. As mentioned earlier, only two opposing Pokemon possessed Elite-level strength, while the remainder were advanced or intermediate level trainers. Although Gardevoir had only reached level 35, she could still easily overwhelm these opponents.

Her attacks were more controlled than Gengar's chaotic assault, but the results proved equally effective. She used Psybeam to repel a Pokemon attempting to flank Eddie, then followed with Dazzling Gleam against a large group of enemies, temporarily blinding and disorienting numerous opponents simultaneously.

These four Pokemon systematically depleted their enemies' stamina, knocking out both Pokemon and trainers alike. While the process appeared somewhat brutal, none of the injuries threatened life—at worst, the defeated would require a few months of recovery in the prison medical facility.

Snorlax and Garchomp, meanwhile, faced virtually no direct challenges. Eddie had positioned them specifically to block potential escape routes.

As the two largest Pokemon on his team, they served as perfect barriers against retreat. Most opponents didn't dare approach these gym leader-level Pokemon, and the few who desperately attempted escape were immediately repelled by Snorlax's Hammer Arm technique.

Snorlax maintained a relatively passive approach, only attacking when directly approached, which occasionally tempted desperate trainers into making doomed escape attempts.

Garchomp, however, refused to play a merely defensive role. The Dragon/Ground-type actively launched Dragon Pulse attacks throughout the battlefield, creating an atmosphere of terrifying aggression. Nobody dared approach this formidable and violent Dragon-type Pokemon.

"Damn it! How did things turn out this way? Wasn't today supposed to be the day I became an official gym leader?!" Kaz Gym Leader lamented, questioning everything he believed about his destiny.

With his Peak-level Electabuzz, he could barely dodge attacks from Pikachu, Gengar, and Gardevoir, but his subordinates faced complete annihilation. How could he not question his entire worldview?

"Ah! Scyther! Get out of the way—it's dangerous!" Yas Gym Leader screamed as he witnessed his strongest Pokemon's defeat.

The Scyther that had previously fought evenly with Kaz's Electabuzz had finally fallen. Eevee, demonstrating remarkable power despite its small size, had first struck with a Swift attack, then finished the Bug/Flying-type with a devastating Take Down, sending Scyther crashing to the ground unconscious.

Type advantage, strength superiority, and powerful techniques meant Scyther lasted only two rounds before defeat.

Under normal circumstances, Gym Leader Kaz would have celebrated seeing his rival's strongest Pokemon eliminated. However, he couldn't feel any satisfaction now, because an adorably cute Electric-type mouse was approaching him with obvious hostile intent.

He had a sinking feeling that his turn for defeat had arrived.
