Grass-type Pokemon were indeed closest to nature, so it wasn't surprising that a Grass-type expert could sense Nature Power before others.

However, not every Grass-type expert could perceive this power at the pseudo-Elite level like Erika.

As mentioned before, sensing Nature Power also required natural talent.

Erika's ability to feel Nature Power at this level, even if only slightly, proved that her talent was exceptionally outstanding.

The meaning behind Erika's words was crystal clear. Since she could sense Nature Power, she could naturally detect the Power of Viridian within Eddie.

All possessors of the Power of Viridian loved Pokemon and treated them well, because this ability represented the connection between humans and Pokemon.

Even someone like Lance, who wanted to destroy humanity, had made such extreme decisions because he loved Pokemon too deeply.

Eddie's Power of Viridian had been granted through a legendary Pokemon's blessing, but he genuinely was someone who cherished Pokemon.

As a Grass-type specialist, Erika naturally paid exceptional attention to Nature Power.

Periodically, Viridian Forest bestowed natural power upon trainers in Viridian City. This force was naturally called the Power of Viridian.

The Power of Viridian had manifested many times throughout history and was naturally documented.

However, these records were like legendary Pokemon myths - unless someone was a specialist or particularly interested, few people knew or understood them.

As a Grass-type expert, Erika would definitely understand these natural forces, so she could determine that Eddie possessed the Power of Viridian, leading her to conclude that Eddie would treat Eevee properly.

Therefore, regardless of Misty speaking favorably of Eddie, even if Eddie wore a Team Rocket uniform, Erika would probably firmly believe he was working undercover.

"Sigh, I wanted to test her reaction, but forget it. Lucario, Dark Pulse!" Eddie suddenly released Lucario and launched an attack in Erika's direction.

His action immediately shocked all the maids in the archery dojo.

They had witnessed Eddie conversing peacefully with their mistress, but Eddie had suddenly attacked her, leaving them all stunned.

Many maids instinctively moved to rescue Erika, while some maids who were also trainers had already retrieved Pokeballs and prepared to counterattack Eddie.

However, facing Eddie's sudden assault, Erika maintained her smile. Not only did her expression remain unchanged, but the appreciation in her eyes grew stronger.

Some maids noticed their mistress's composure and, trusting Erika's judgment, stopped those who had drawn Pokeballs and were ready to defend her.

Soon, they discovered why Eddie had attacked.

Although Lucario's assault was directed toward Erika, the target wasn't Erika herself, but something behind her!

With a pained cry, a Drowzee suddenly materialized from behind Erika.

Drowzee was a Psychic-type Pokemon, and the fact that it hadn't evolved into Hypno indicated its strength was only intermediate level.

Facing Peak-level Lucario's Dark Pulse attack, it was instantly defeated and collapsed unconscious.

"So weak. Is it an expendable pawn, or does Team Rocket simply not care about this Drowzee's survival?" Eddie naturally had to comment on the Drowzee's pitiful strength.

What could such a weak creature accomplish even with invisibility abilities?

"This one was here for information theft. If it were meant to attack my Pokemon, they would send Peak-level Pokemon, occasionally even a few Gym Leader-level Pokemon, though the latter are rare - only twice so far. It seems even Team Rocket is reluctant to lose such valuable combat power," Erika explained calmly while signaling the maids to handle the Drowzee.

Two maids immediately understood and dragged the unconscious Drowzee away together. Two additional maids came to clean the floor soiled by the battle.

Their movements were extremely practiced, as if they had performed this routine many times before.

Eddie observed the maids' actions and recalled Erika's explanation, immediately understanding that Erika probably encountered such incidents frequently.

"Don't they realize you possess peak Gym Leader level strength? Even deploying Gym Leader-level Pokemon would be a waste, wouldn't it?" Eddie asked with genuine confusion.

If the goal was information theft, sending any Pokemon would be reasonable, but for assassination attempts, how could mere Gym Leader-level Pokemon harm Erika, who was peak Gym Leader level?

"For such attacks, the Pokemon doesn't need to be stronger than me. As long as they catch me off guard and deliver a fatal blow directly, their objective would be achieved," Erika replied with a calm expression.

Since she had chosen to lead anti-Team Rocket operations, she naturally accepted such risks.

"They have such significant advantages, yet still resort to these methods. How cautious can they be?" Eddie observed.

This Team Rocket branch obviously possessed considerable advantages, yet remained extremely cautious.

Eddie felt he was dealing with a particularly careful Team Rocket organization, though fortunately Eddie was equally cautious.

The reason he had detected this Drowzee was because when he first arrived at the archery dojo, he had asked Lucario to scan the area, primarily discovering that a Drowzee was hidden inside.

Originally, Eddie had wanted to mislead the enemy with false information, but when Erika revealed her knowledge about the Nature Power within Eddie, he decided to take direct action against the Drowzee.

"However, this kind of long-distance Psychic Pokemon control for attacks or reconnaissance is impossible for ordinary people and trainers, unless..."

"Unless the enemy is a person with psychic abilities, who can communicate with Psychic Pokemon and control them remotely," Erika finished Eddie's thought, directly stating that the enemy possessed psychic powers.

Well, Eddie actually knew this must have been Sabrina's work, and he had wanted to mention Agatha's situation just to be mischievous.

Since Erika had completed his statement, he missed the opportunity to speak.

"Ahem, well, I know the identities of Team Rocket's three Executives. After all, I've battled all of them," Eddie acknowledged.

"You should pay closer attention to your personal safety. Now I'm going to capture that Eevee first."

Erika didn't realize that Eddie already knew Team Rocket's information, so she was essentially revealing classified intelligence, clearly demonstrating her complete trust in Eddie.

Eddie didn't waste more time with conversation and quickly moved to complete Erika's request.

After all, one of his primary purposes in coming to Rainbow City had been this very Eevee.
