It has been three days since I returned from Mr Frederick's house, and I have been inside Gilbert's mansion, without going beyond the massive gate that surrounds the house.
I went to bed quite late the night before, and when I got up very early in the morning, I had the want to go out. I thought to myself about where I might go, and the only escape route that occurred to me was the college; however, I doubted that I would be permitted to go.
The next thing you know, I was out of bed and on my way to the bathroom, where I proceeded to take a bath; once I was through, I emerged from the bathroom, got washed up, and started getting ready for college.
I immediately exited the room and proceeded to make my way down the stairs to the living room, where I was taken aback to see Bernard standing there fully clothed and prepared to depart for college.
