Chapter 46 - Ch.046 Miwako: I Don´t approve this Marriage.

[~1250 Words]

"Just so you know, everyone already knows," Takuya Fujiwara remarked, "Isn't it logical for an orphan like me to have several wives and multiple children?"

Yumi Miyamoto stayed quiet, her lips pressed together in disapproval, and her mouth twitching with irritation. She was completely at a loss for words.

She found this line of thinking completely ridiculous.

In her mind, orphans weren't the type to marry several wives and have lots of children.

In reality, none of the orphans she had known were fortunate enough to have a family this size.

"Officer Fujiwara," Yumi interjected, "Can you not joke around with me? You already have Miwako, and you're still thinking about starting a family with me?"

Takuya looked downcast and took a deep breath. Seeing his distress made Yumi's heart ache.

For some reason, when she saw Fujiwara Takuya's sad countenance, she felt a pang of sorrow within herself.

"Officer Fujiwara," Yumi asked with concern, "What's bothering you? You look really down."

"Nothing, really," Takuya replied, his voice tinged with sadness. "Growing up, I was an orphan and didn't have any family connections, leaving me feeling pretty lonely at times."

"I used to watch other families hanging out, laughing and chatting, while I was just there alone in the orphanage with some other kids." he continued.

Those memories made a lasting impression on his mind.

Turns out, this was Takuya's backstory, which pushed him to accomplish amazing things even with all the struggles he went through before he got the system.

His exceptional abilities had allowed him to pass the National Civil Service Examination and become a police officer with the Metropolitan Police Department.

Yumi felt a wave of emotions from his words, as if she was also deserted without loved ones around her.

On their own, without a mother's love, they probably had a tough time finding food or care.

Thinking about Takuya's situation, Yumi's heart ached for him and how hard life must be for him.

Yumi saw how unfortunate Officer Fujiwara's situation was and couldn't resist showing a little kindness.

"Officer Fujiwara," she said gently, "No need to feel down. From today, we're family."

Takuya made the most of the moment by hugging Miyamoto, causing an accidental touch of her soft upper body.

"I'm starving! I really want some milk," he exclaimed.

"Yumi," Fujiwara continued, his voice tinged with determination, "it's exactly because I'm an orphan that I crave family love, want to have several wives, and dream of having lots of kids."

*Miwako Sato watched the scene unfold from a distance in stunned silence.*

It never crossed Yumi´s mind that Takuya could want something like that, nor did she see him as someone who could be selfish.

Yumi reacted with surprise and disapproval to Takuya's words.

After everything they had talked about, Yumi realized he still wanted to have many wives and children.

"Officer Fujiwara," Sato interjected firmly, "if Miwako found out about this, she'd definitely fight you to death."

Takuya's expression turned somber once he saw Miwako reaching them.

"What can't I know?" Miwako asked sharply.

Miwako lost her smile right away when she noticed Takuya and Yumi wrapped up in each other's arms as she opened the car door.

Miwako was caught off guard by their behavior, wondering why they opted for a hug now when Yumi had already shed tears hugging Takuya earlier.

Prior to this, Takuya had consoled a distressed Miyamoto Yumi.

Yumi decided to flip the script, blaming Officer Fujiwara and calling him manipulative.

She pushed him away and threw herself into Sato's arms, continuing to berate Takuya.

Directly addressing him as a 'devil', Yumi sought to deflect attention from her own actions.

"Miwako," she said, "you must believe me. I'm telling the truth."

Takuya jumped at Miwako, shoving Yumi out of the way to get closer to his girlfriend.

He rubbed against her arms, taking advantage of the situation.

Miwako Sato was speechless as she watched Takuya's actions, her initial trust in him now wavering.

`Would a genuinely good person behave so recklessly? ´ she pondered.

"Miwako," Yumi continued, "you must believe me. He wants to marry multiple wives and have lots of kids."

As the two women rubbed against each other's faces, an awkward situation ensued.

"Enough!" Miwako exclaimed firmly, pushing Takuya and Yumi apart. "There are too many people here watching us. Moreover, I do not approve of your marriage proposal."

Takuya found himself caught up with the two women, each tangled in a mix of feelings.

He held Miwako close, his head nestled in her arms, and at the same time, he was gently touching Yumi with his left hand.

As they lingered, Takuya couldn't help but wonder if Miwako would eventually warm up to their relationship.

Maybe over time, she'd be silly enough to accept their relationship.

Silly? It is clearly Miwako´s Wisdom and Generosity.

Without hesitation, Miwako pushed Takuya's hand on her body aside, her anxiety clear as day.

She placed her own hand on Yumi's arm, a clear sign of her disapproval.

As for the Takuya´s hand on her hand, Sato did not refuse it. After all, what could be wrong with being hugged by her boyfriend, especially one so exceptional?

"Alright," Miwako said firmly, "let´s return to the Metropolitan Police Department."

Takuya started the car and moved out.

The rest of the case would be taken care of by other officers; he didn't feel the need to step in anymore.

In the afternoon, news broke of a bank robbery across the nation.

Major media outlets broadcast the scene, showcasing Officer Fujiwara's exceptional skills as he took down gangsters with ease.

From fifty meters away, he fired two shots that hit their mark in their forehead, taking them out instantly.

The graphic nature of the footage led to the images being processed and mosaiced for public viewing.

Eri Kisaki sat in her office, enjoying some TV time to unwind before she shifted her focus to the bank robbery case assigned to Takuya.

As she prayed for his success, Eri found herself drawn into the scene unfolding on screen.

Takuya's shooting skills were truly impressive, hitting both targets at the same time with amazing accuracy.

Eri lifted her glasses, envisioning Fujiwara turning things around.

There were two hostages, and the cops had a tough time catching the robbers without putting innocent people in danger.

However, upon Fujiwara's arrival on the scene, he displayed his exceptional marksmanship, instantly taking down both robbers.

He was truly deserving to be her man, with godly skills in the bed and exceptional shooting prowess.

Her chest warmed at the thought of him.

As Eri surrendered to her daydreams of Takuya, a wave of tranquility washed over her, one hand gently gliding down to her skirt while the other instinctively caressed her bosom.

She began to comfort herself, seeking solace from the frightening images flickering on the screen.

[That´s all for now]
