"How about I make lunch to compensate? I will make it at noon and send it over." Adam placed his hand on her shoulder.
"No need; I do not want to trouble you, and I probably will not have time at noon."
Adam's eyes darkened for an instant, but he only said, "Mm."
"Then make it for me in the evening; I have time in the evening." Sophia bit into a sandwich and smiled at Adam until her eyes curved.
"Okay." Adam used a tissue to wipe the crumbs from her lip corner, his tone gentle. "I will make it for you."
The two lingered and kissed reluctantly under the Joy Building before finally letting each other go after being sticky for half a day.
"See you tonight." Sophia waved to her lover reluctantly.
Adam looked deeply at her and nodded slightly. "Mm."
