On the snowy night, deep within Redwood Ridge was extraordinarily quiet.
A towering tree with a diameter of over twenty meters suddenly shook a few times.
Rustle... rustle...
The icicles on the tree branches fell with a patter. Although the sound wasn't loud due to the cushion of snow on the ground, it was exceptionally clear in the ever-silent depths of the Snow Forest.
If you looked closely above the tree, you would find a Cold Beast, about two meters long with six angular limbs, lying on the thickest branch, chewing on something unknown.
The Cold Beast's snow-white fur was sagging lazily and even seemed somewhat transparent, perfectly blending with the icicles hanging from the branches. Its body was so small that one wouldn't notice it without careful observation.
