The afternoon sunlight is warm.
Jiang Nian is sunbathing while squinting and calculating scores, figuring out how many points he needs to score in each subject for tomorrow's second mock exam.
After a quick calculation with his fingers, he determines he needs at least 120 in Chinese.
Chen Yunyun sits next to him, looking somewhat unnatural. She glances at Jiang Nian, blushing, and asks quietly.
"Why are you pinching my fingers?"
"Oh, oh, I pinched the wrong spot by accident." He says this without the slightest hint of embarrassment on his face.
Chen Yunyun: "..."
"I'm thinking if I can hit 120 in Chinese tomorrow." Jiang Nian sighs, looking worried.
"No problem," Chen Yunyun comforts him, "The teacher said the second mock papers are easier."
"Let's hope so."
"Can you stop worrying and touching my leg at the same time?"
"Ah?"
Jiang Nian releases her leg and apologizes with a face full of regret, "Sorry, I got a bit distracted just now."
