Wrapped in a mink coat, she stopped, panting, at the doorway. She looked around in the dim light, finally stopping her eyes on Jiang Nian.
"Hey!"
The woman ran with a bit of a jiggle, and you don't really need to explain what was jiggling.
"You~are~that~~. . .tenant, right? I'm his sister-in-law, we're going up... Eh, which floor is he on again?"
Her voice trembled, which is normal when you run.
"Quite handsome, still in school?" The sister-in-law had long legs wrapped in black stockings, "I also brought the agreement."
In this small place, the agreement is just a piece of paper.
Most disputes don't rise to the level of going to court, especially when both parties are local to the town, disputes are usually settled by mediation over small amounts.
This is one reason the landlord was willing to rent; less hassle.
"Senior year." Jiang Nian nodded.
