Reynald's eyes immediately caught sight of Ben stepping aside to make way for a large man wearing a thick coat. It was Duke Theron Witte. After Ben gave him room to enter, the man stepped inside, his eyes immediately landing on the young Duke sitting behind his desk, with a masked figure now seated on the sofa in the middle of the room.
Meanwhile, Schnee, who could feel the Duke's gaze settling on her, immediately straightened her posture. Taking a few steps toward Reynald's desk, Schnee turned to face Duke Florance before politely lowering her head, one hand folded over her chest.
"Since our business is finished, I believe I'll take my leave now, Your Grace," Schnee finally said, doing her best to deepen her voice. Straightening herself again, she continued, "If you'll excuse me."
