It had been almost a few minutes since Lucian had decided to clean himself up after spending time brooding in his room, following the conversation he'd had with Cassian and Ivan earlier. For several hours, he hadn't done anything at all — not even after retreating back to his room, fleeing that earlier conversation. Even with a few stacks of books sitting right in front of him, none of it could pull his mind away from his father's decision to resume family dinners after all this time.
Now, the warm water filling his bathtub had nearly lost all its heat, though Lucian paid it no mind whatsoever. Leaning his body against the tub's wall, tilting his head toward the ceiling, arm draped over his closed eyes. He himself had no idea how long he'd been sitting in this bathtub now — maybe close to an hour? He couldn't say for certain, but he genuinely couldn't feel the water's temperature at all anymore.
