After a few hours, fifteen rooms had been furnished with bunk beds. Eight of them had bed nets, while seven did not.
From the design and color of the beds, it was clear they were meant for girls. Why was Fred planning to imprison so many women?
Just as she was wondering about it, loud noises came from outside. The bodyguards entered, carrying fifteen large sacks. Fred entered the room and untied the first one, revealing a young woman's beautiful face.
He touched her cheek and frowned. "The quality isn't good enough."
"She's from a poor family, so she's decent enough growing up like that," the man beside Fred said cautiously.
Fred snorted and said in a mocking tone, "I want pretty women. Why are you grabbing them from poor families?"
The man looked hurt but said nothing. Kidnapping girls from wealthy families would be risky. Who would take responsibility if things went wrong?
Fred patted his shoulder and said, "What is there to worry about when you work for Mr. Joseph?"
