Rowan had doubts about Daniel marrying Camille. Back in Carcosa, he could tell Daniel still loved Chantelle, so it didn't make sense that he'd abandon her to marry Camille.
But Daniel's side had already announced the marriage.
The only explanation Rowan could think of was that Daniel wanted both: a partnership with the Nelsen family and having Chantelle as his lover. Still, Rowan wondered if Chantelle would ever agree to that. Maybe Daniel was using the triplets to force her.
