Daniel narrowed his eyes. "So you're saying my wife came to you because of me?"
"That's right. Mrs. Wilson said the Morgan family business originally belonged to Wesley, but Connor stole it from him. The Morgans have been living a luxurious life from something that they've stolen. Now it's time to return it."
Nancy had heard that Daniel doted on his wife, but she didn't know the full story. Still, since she had already chosen to side with Chantelle, she had no choice but to lay all her cards on the table.
If it worked out, she'd consider herself lucky. At least she'd be aligned with someone as powerful as Daniel.
If things didn't go her way, she might not succeed right away. But with what Chantelle had taught her, she could still work her way up and take control of the Morgan family. She just had to push harder.
