Hong He was shocked, his face full of disbelief.
He then turned his head to look at Hong Zhaoyue beside him and asked, "Zhaoyue, where were you this morning?"
Hong Zhaoyue looked at her father in confusion, not expecting even her father to doubt her. Seeing the strange expression on his face, she truthfully replied:
"I was at the mansion all day, never left for a single step. My maids can testify to this. I just recovered from a serious illness, how could I possibly run around and cause trouble!?"
Hong He nodded.
He knew his daughter well; Hong Zhaoyue had no reason to lie.
