A single sentence made both the White Wolf and the child erupt with an astonishing killing intent. No one knew what the two were thinking, but their expressions were as dark as if water might drip from their faces. They glared fiercely at the door, as if they could see Shu and the others outside. However, all they could see was the verdant and sturdy door.
"Who exactly sent you?" the White Wolf growled. Even though he'd already figured out their identities when he heard that sentence, he didn't want to make a hasty decision and so asked again to make a better judgment.
The people outside chuckled bitterly. Hearing the frightening killing intent from the White Wolf and the child earlier, they realized they had said something wrong. At this moment, if they continued to lie chaotically, they had no idea how the two would react. Hence, Shu and his people fell silent, not saying a word.
