Just as Zhu Bufan was erasing traces, snowflakes suddenly fluttered down from the sky.
"Ha-ha, truly Heaven helps me too!" Zhu Bufan cheered and swiftly returned along the way he had come.
By the time Zhu Bufan got back to the courtyard, the ground was covered with half a foot deep of snow.

After securing the courtyard gate, Zhu Bufan returned to his room.
He immediately changed into a new set of clothes, cutting the blood-stained and tattered old clothes into pieces and throwing them into the furnace; he then cleaned himself up thoroughly so that there was no sign of him having gone out, and finally sat back down on the bed.
Zhu Bufan took a deep breath and opened a package next to him, preparing to sort out his gains from this outing.
