Generally speaking, academic pressure doesn't appear until high school. Even for elite education, it usually starts in middle school. But the Kujo family is different; Kujo Yua believes education should start from a young age, so Minamoto Tamako began preparing for entrance into prestigious universities from elementary school.

When summer vacation came, Tamako also had protection from her Grandpa. Kujo Yua couldn't refuse the old man's wishes. As long as Grandpa expressed his desire to bond with his granddaughter and enjoy family life, Tamako would gain her freedom to frolic in the countryside.
Right now, Fushimi Roku is playing the role of that tutor. He lets little Tamako sneak out to play and promises to help her finish unnecessary homework.
