Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Kyōka Suigetsu

Konoha Year 71 , in a quiet house nestled within the Uchiha territory.

Uchiha Kai sat cross-legged on the tatami floor, his eyes closed in focused meditation. The room was still, except for the gentle rustling of wind outside. Across his lap lay a simple katana with a green hilt, a constant companion throughout his journey.

Suddenly, the ordinary-looking katana began to glow with a faint silver light. Its dull blade shimmered, transforming into a surface as reflective as a mirror. Kai's eyes, previously closed in deep concentration, snapped open, a spark of excitement flickering within them.

"Finally," he whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of pride and exhilaration. "After twelve years of relentless training, I've awakened the Shikai of my Zanpakutō!" The weight of his accomplishment sank in, filling him with a profound sense of fulfillment.

Kai was no ordinary shinobi. Sixteen years ago, he had been reincarnated into the Uchiha clan of the Naruto universe, born in the same generation as Uchiha Shisui.

Like Shisui, Kai had earned a reputation as a genius within the clan. Yet despite his undeniable talent, he was often overshadowed by the brilliance of both Shisui and Uchiha Itachi. Many within the Uchiha clan still considered Kai a genius on par with these two prodigies, but kai knew better.

There was an enormous gap separating him from them, a gap known as the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Shisui and Itachi were destined to awaken that fearsome power, a power that even other Uchiha feared, one that elevated them to the level of a Kage. Kai understood this better than anyone. No matter how hard he trained or how many battles he fought, he knew that until he awakened his own Mangekyō Sharingan, he would never truly rival their strength.

And yet, not all hope was lost.

From the moment of his birth in this world, Kai had sensed something different about himself. Deep within his mental plane, a sword had always been present, an ordinary-looking blade with a green hilt. But Kai recognized it instantly. It wasn't just any sword; it was Kyōka Suigetsu, the Zanpakutō wielded by Aizen from Bleach , an anime he had been obsessed with in his previous life.

The realization had hit him like a bolt of lightning. He knew the sword's capabilities, its power was unmatched. The Shikai of Kyōka Suigetsu granted perfect hypnosis. The illusions it created were so convincing that they trapped all five senses of those who witnessed its release. Once a person had seen the Shikai release, they were utterly helpless, unable to distinguish illusion from reality until the wielder dispelled the effect or they made physical contact with the blade itself.

It was one of the most broken abilities in the world of Bleach , and now it was his. Kai had the ability to summon the blade from his mental plane to the real world. It was no differnet from an ordinary Katana. But Kai knew the powers hidden within it.

So,From that moment, Kai had dedicated himself to mastering the blade. While other Uchiha focused on perfecting their Sharingan techniques or honing their ninjutsu, Kai poured his energy into swordsmanship and the art of illusion. He was determined to unlock the full potential of Kyōka Suigetsu.

Since the age of four, Kai had trained without rest, pushing his body to its limits. He used his sword with great discipline, learning its moves and uncovering its hidden depths.

He was forced to fight in the Third Great Ninja War as a fellow member of his village. Kai witnessed the brutality of war firsthand. He always focused on preserving his life instead of rushing blindly into a battle. That was probably a main reason why he survived the war in the first place. But he still had to watch his friends and fellow Uchiha members die one after another. This experience let him awaken his Sharingan, pushing it up to the three-tomoe stage.

But he knew that against the Mangekyō Sharingan, the three-tomoe Sharingan was utterly useless. This realization only fueled his determination to focus on mastering his sword arts.

Today, all his hard work had paid off. He had finally awakened the Shikai.

Despite the rush of excitement coursing through him, a grim reality loomed over his thoughts. This year or the next would mark the death of Uchiha Shisui. Kai knew this from the countless fanfics and stories he had read about Naruto in his previous life. Although he didn't know the exact date, he could sense it from the increasing tension and widening rift between the Uchiha clan and the village.

Shisui's death would be a pivotal moment, setting in motion the events that would led to the Uchiha massacre, a tragedy that resulted in the death of every clan member.

But now, things had changed. Now, Kai had the power to save them all.

The Uchiha clan was known for their arrogance and cold demeanor, but to each other, they were a family. Kai had lived among them for sixteen years, and despite their tough exteriors, he knew they cared deeply for one another. Even in the original story, it was mentioned that the Uchiha's love was so intense that when lost, it could manifest as overwhelming negativity, fueling their Sharingan abilities.

Kai had also come to care deeply for them, especially his own family. His mother was a civilian Uchiha, a gentle and loving woman uninvolved in the affairs of shinobi. His father was a chunin, a police officer in the Konoha Military Police Force, tasked with maintaining peace in a village that increasingly treated the Uchiha like outcasts.

Kai could not, would not, allow them to die at the hands of Uchiha Itachi, the man who would one day slaughter their clan. To Kai, what Itachi had done was unforgivable. Nearly two thousand members of the Uchiha clan had perished in a single night, many of them were civilians, ordinary people who ran shops and lived quiet lives within the Uchiha compound.

Itachi, obsessed with his brother Sasuke and his loyalty to the village, had slaughtered them all without hesitation. Why? Because the Uchiha had dared to stand up against the village that had oppressed them for so long?

Kai understood the Uchiha's pain all too well. They were one of Konoha's founding clans, a pillar of strength that had bled for the village time and time again. They stood at the front lines of every war, sacrificing fathers, sons, mothers, and daughters to protect the very people who now looked at them with suspicion. Even when Madara Uchiha, one of their greatest ancestors, had sought to tear the village apart and lead them into rebellion, they had chosen loyalty. They had chosen Konoha.

But loyalty was never enough. After the Nine-Tails tore through the village, everything shifted. The Uchiha tried to defend themselves, tried to clear their name, but no one listened. Fear had already taken hold of Konoha's people. Too many swore they had seen it, the red glow of a Sharingan pattern burning in the eyes of the beast that night.

The clan became scapegoats, branded as traitors without a single piece of proof. Their honor was stripped away, their dignity crushed. They were pushed to the village outskirts, forced to live under the unblinking gaze of ANBU and Root. It was betrayal, pure and complete betrayal by the village.

Currently, the Uchiha compound was a prison, surrounded by watchtowers manned by ANBU who monitored their every move. Kai had experienced the village's discrimination firsthand, and he understood why the clan had been driven to the brink of rebellion.

He didn't know if rebelling against Konoha was the right choice, but one thing was certain: anyone who threatened his family or his clan would pay.

If Itachi wanted to kill the Uchiha, Kai would kill Itachi. If the village sought to wipe them out, Kai would burn the village to the ground. If the world turned against the Uchiha, Kai would destroy the world itself.

For him, nothing was more important than his family and his clan.

After calming the excitement of his Shikai awakening, Kai stood up from the tatami floor. His heart was steady, his resolve unshakable. He gripped the sword tightly, ready for the challenges ahead.

At first, Kai had made other plans, plans to escape Konoha. Escaping alone would have been easy, but he wanted to take his family and close friends with him. His mother was a civilian, and getting her out safely was already difficult. The real problem was not leaving the village, but surviving the relentless pursuit that would follow. Kai had thought it through, crafting a deliberate plan that he had been refining for a long time.

But now? He would not run from the upcoming calamity.

Instead, he would face it head-on.

And with Kyōka Suigetsu in hand, he was determined to rewrite the fate of the Uchiha.
